Richard Sherman has become the highest paid CB in the NFL with a 4 year $57million extension with $40mill guaranteed.

 

In my biased opinion its a great re-signing. Keeps the Legion of Book intact for 5 more years.

I'm not a fan of Bortles, I like Manziel and I love Bridgewater. I find Teddy's stock drop inexplicable as well. The fact he could be a second round QB is madness to me, but sometimes that is just how it goes.

 

Manziel is a bit a mystery. He is the very definition of boom or bust. I'm hoping it is boom because I was a big fan of his days at Texas A&M. He brought a real excitement to the NCAA.

 

Bortles could go first simply because he fits O'Brien's mold at the Texans. It's an odd one though. A friend of mine thinks Bortles could be amazing, but I was never thrilled whenever I watched him last year.

 

The people I am pegging in this draft as potential stars:

 

Jadaveon Clowney

Johnny Manziel

Kyle Fuller

Khalil Mack

Greg Robinson

Odell Beckham JR

Sammy Watkins

Mike Evans

Teddy Bridgewater

 

Truth is this draft is deep..much better than last years, especially for receivers. The first three rounds are going to be must watch TV if you are an NFL/NCAA fan..so many of these players have huge potential, more than I've seen for a long while.

im not getting the hype on Manziel. The guy will not be able to run around in the pocket carelessly in the NFL. And that's why he was so good in college.

His pocket skills improved considerably last year..you'd have a point if you were talking about his first year but honestly he isn't the QB people think he is. You just have to study the game tape to see that.

OK 12 picks in and now I'm starting to feel bad for the guy. He's going to get drafted regardless but damn. I just really REALLY REALLY hope the Cowboys don't do what people say they were going to do and pick him up. Him and Romo would butt heads way too much. If they thought Owens messed up chemistry...

Now if he makes it to round two picks then maybe we can gamble on him. I really hoped they would get a CB or Safety but an offensive tackle will do too.

Vikings got steal of the draft. Bridgewater will be the star of the QB class this year. Johnny might do something special, he has one of the best receivers in the game to throw to.

I dont think so personally. I think Johnny will be the best QB out of this class but I'm not really expecting anything special from him either. With Bridgewater I just get the feeling he's going to be another Josh Freeman, Blaine Gabbert etc in the sense he wont live up to his billing coming out of college.

I'm from Cleveland, people are going absolutely nuts over here, saying things like "We're going to the playoffs!!!" and "SUPER BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWLLL". Truth is, there needs to be much more rebuilding done before the Browns become an actual contender. Manziel himself will not be able to carry the Browns, he needs help, and the Browns need much better management. Their disorganization they call a franchise is what turned me away in the first place.

Megatron is the type of player you get in once in a generation(if even). I'm not saying Gordon isn't,t a beast, but he's not on the same level as CJ.

 

And now Cleveland just lost another receiver... Nate Burleson broke his arm again.

We'll see. I think CJ is incredible as well but what Gordon is turning into looks to be equally as good.

 

Apart from Khalil Mack I was completely disappointed with Raiders draft in the first three rounds. I've no idea why we took Derek Carr when Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson were on the board. Moncrief is still inexplicably available as well and for some reason we passed on him for a guard.

 

Receiving options has been Raiders problem for years. The last time we had a WR go over 1,000 yards was Randy FREAKIN' MOSS.

 

Let that sink in.

He's always looked like a dick during his time at Alabama. If I was in his situation I'd just be smart about it and say whatever the NFL teams personel want to hear, wheter I believed it or not. He's was never an amazing QB even in college though, so definetly dont go into the draft with a inflated ego when the running game and defense carried you through college.
