Yeah I have a 94% cure rate. Hodgkins Lymphoma and I'm young. Just a long chemo treatment.

I agree it was a stupid comment and something he should've kept to himself. I thought he did it more jokingly, but when I watched the video he came off as a complete dick.

 

Herman Edwards brought up a great point. He said Cam should know better, because folks have stereotyped and made assumptions about him being a black QB. Herm said he was in the room when so-called draft experts questioned Cam's "understanding" of the pro game and other code words.

 

NFL QB is the highest position in pro sports. You are the face of the franchise. I look at how Eli handles his press conferences in a media jungle like NYC - he does it without throwing anyone under the bus. Cam has some learning to do.

my girlfriend said the same thing when we saw the clip.

 

the first time I heard a female announcer calling a baseball game it caught me off guard.

like it sounded funny. not because women can't call a ball game, but because it just sounded funny since you were so not used to hearing it. which is exactly what Cam said. but suddenly he's is a sexist who has to apologize and lose money so that a goddamn yogurt company can take a high-horse-sh/t on him? and everyone else can pretend they're so much better. like they've never made dumb stereotype jokes in their entire lives.

 

we're living in this f/cking GOTCHA culture and it's going way too far.

people just waiting around and looking for the next slip-up so they can all point and say "AH HA, there's the bad guy" instead of having a real conversation about anything. like the fact that it shouldn't be weird to hear a female in that position. but the systemic sexism against women in the sports reporting industry gets swept under the rug so that everyone can scapegoat some guy for making a simple off the cuff comment.

 

PC culture run amok. everyone throwing stones from glass houses.

Giants go from bad to worse...the defense is s**t, o-line inconsistent, 3 wide receivers injured (Odell probably done for the season), with upcoming games against Von Miller and the Legion of Boom. Giants are looking at 0-7 before the bye. Jerry Reese has a lot to answer for.

That was the Rams weve all come to know. Super sloppy and undisciplined. At least Goff was only responsible for one interception. Otherwise he looks good. I think they can bounce back. Just bad luck after getting three weeks of good luck.
