You go from thinking you have won and having the play go under review, to reversing the TD to being down at the half yard line and no timeouts. So by rule, 10 second run off, game over

Second, Shepard, you had a good game. You did. But you didn't make 2 TD's you should've made and that could've changed the game.

Fourth, Flowers, way to wait until the very end to sh*t the bed. It's very fitting.

As a OU Sooner fan, I personally enjoy the hell out of Sproles even though he single handedly derailed one of the greatest college teams ever whenever he destroyed the Sooner defense when he was a Kansas State Wildcat in the Big 12 championship. I'm pretty sure that was the year OU lost that game but still went to the championship, maybe not..it sucks seeing Sproles go out like that, such a f*cked up injury.

 

It's ironic that most teams/players are doing the same thing Colin Kaepernick did a season ago. Hopefully they don't hit free agency next season, might find a hard time finding a job.

 

 

It's pretty sad Colin Kaepernick will be remembered by most fanatic NFL watchers (myself) as a very memorable player when he was on a sh*t team. That dude was a Crabtree finger tip away from a super bowl and had one of the greatest QB performances in the Lambeau in the PLAYOFFS. And now he is mysteriously unemployed, and could arguably be starting for the team who beat him in the super bowl.

the more important question is; why the hell do we sing the national anthem at every single f/cking sporting event under the sun? large or small. important or irrelevant. children, amateurs or professionals. they all have to stand there and salute. every. single. game. I think we should just stop with the stupid f/cking anthem. sports and politics have nothing in common and don't need to crossover to begin with. the real solution should just be STOP singing the anthem.

 

save it for the Super Bowl.

it's not necessary otherwise. this goes for every other sport on Earth. unless this is the Olympics, singing your anthem is just dumb.

Its been done so much, its lost its meaning. People who claim they know the meaning, are full of sh*t. Forcing someone to pledge allegiance, or show respect in their way, is fascism. These athletes have found a way to honor and expose victims of senseless violent crimes to a wide audience, who many of are willfully ignorant. To them, and they wont admit it, its not that these athletes are disrespectful, its that they are doing something that doesnt align with their politics.

I agree the Diablo, get the anthem out of stadiums and use them for the Super Bowl and championships of the sports world. The government should've never given money to the NFL to advertise the military on NFL fields in the first f*cking place.

 

Trump and his fanatics claim NFL ratings are down because of the anthem protest, even though two major hurricanes wiped through America in back to back weeks, a week before the regular season and the overall product hasn't been that great up until this past weekend (big shocker, ratings rose this past weekend amid allegations from the man himself, Trump, said otherwise)I support the protest, but it's getting old, and I'm not going to stop watching football because of it. I honestly think the people who are saying this, is because they don't habitually watch football.. they might go to a BBQ and watch it at a friends house or do what every other American does in Feburary and watch the super bowl.

Yea, we haven't had a fair result of the ratings.

 

Last year was the Presidential Election, and this year, hurricanes, fires and earthquakes.

 

 

I read one guy comment on NFL's Facebook post, "No more Anheuser-Busch products for me until you stop supporting the Rapists, Wife Beaters, Child Abusers and Anti-American SCUM of the NFL!!"

 

Lol - Anheuser Busch stopped packaging beer and start filling up cans with water to help those affected by the hurricanes. I think some people just want to bitch just to bitch.

I think it's hilarious how when people were blocking highways and looting shops white people would say "If you protested peacefully we would respect you and listen to You" and now black people are doing basically the most peaceful protest ever and people are still angry at them.

Because passes are the only thing we can do. A fullback wouldn't have mattered on our stuffed run. It was Flower's man and he whiffed. Meanwhile, we had 2 TD's before that taken away because Shepard couldn't go over the goalline or hang onto the ball.

 

Plus with our receivers vs. Philly corners, it was smart to pass.

I don't know why the didn't pass again on 4th down m. That o-line wasn't going to push the d-line back enough to even get remotely close to the end zone. you have Marshall who's suppose to be a redone threat, you have arguably the best receiver in the game and you have Shepard and Engram who are capable receivers. I would've passed the ball.

I turned on last night game right when Devonte Adams got rocked. It was kind of sickening tbh. Hit's like that, coupled with the anthem protests and the overall thuggery is really going to hurt the NFL imo.

 

 

People have been saying the stadiums won't be filling up because of the protesting during the Anthem.

Lambeau field will literally be the last stadium to not sell out so that's not a great example, it's also the smallest stadium and it was primetime. TV ratings are the best indicator and they are down.

There's literally a handful of non-football related things that apply to why ratings are down... not just protest. Like I mentioned a few post ago, two hurricanes hit back to back weeks before the regular season started, which I think played a big factor.

 

Plus, last years playoffs (Cowboys/Packers to be specific) shattered TV ratings breaking playoff ratings records. NFL is getting hurt by nothing, they are still making a lot of money and a lot of people are still watching.

 

It's not a TO situation yet, but he definitely reminds me of him as far as how the media portrays him.

Dallas Cowboys played horrible. The defense will cost us so many games this season, and if our offense keeps have halfs like the 2nd half... then we will be lucky to make the playoffs.
