NFC West is going to be interesting as hell. Hawks and Niners look set for a few years and the Rams are rebuilding well and well... the cards are... well the cards have Fitz. lol poor guy.

I'm a bit hesitant on the Harvin move but i hope it all works out. Imagine that Hawks Offense. Wilson, Lynch, Harvin,Rice, Tate, Baldwin. Damn.

Hell, the Rams might even be trouble this year if they get their sh*t together (and keep Amendola). I'm legitimately worried about Seattle, and a bit pissed off that after the division being crap for so many years, just when Harbaugh turns us around, you guys have to go and try to upstage us. It's cool, we'll see what happens this year. Let's dance, dickweed.

Pretty happy we landed Boldin, though it surprised the hell out of me, and only for a 6th round pick as well. With all these draft selections we have, I hope we improve our secondary, since that's the one area I feel like got exposed in the Super Bowl.

Ravens lose Krueger to the Browns and Ellerbe to the Dolphins. Mike Wallace signs with the Dolphins for 5 years/$65 mil - I believe $30 mil is guaranteed. Philly cuts ties with Nnamdi.

UPDATE: Reggie Bush to Detroit, Rashard Mendenhall to Arizona, Giants lose Bennett to Chicago, and the big news is Wes Welker to Denver. I heard on the radio Tom Brady is incensed over this.

Capricornus

I swear I did not expect Wes Welker to go to Denver. I said to myself "what if he ends up in Denver LOL" but it was still unexpected. It was a great move all the same. The Broncos offense just got even more dangerous.

With Wes Welker's departure, the Patriots ended up giving Danny Amendola a 5 year, $31 million dollar contract, which seems to be a contract that Wes Welker would have liked. Word is that Wes Welker turned down a 2 year, $10 million dollar contract with the Pats and took the 2 year, $12 million dollar offer from the Broncos.

Now that Joe Flacco has the big money the Superbowl Ravens team is just all messed up and dismantled. Ray Lewis retired, Anquan Boldin is a 49er, Bernard Pollard gets released, Ed Reed will be visiting the Texans and may get released, Dannell Elebre is in Miami, and Kruger is in Cleveland. I can't see them going too far next year.

It's good to see Reggie Bush with a good offense and a great QB again. Lions should be pretty good like they were 2 seasons ago.

Why wouldn't the Patriots pay Welker? They shelled out more loot for Amendola. Makes no sense.

Ravens got their trophy, so now they can cut salary, add more youth and be a serious contender in two years. Such is today's NFL - can't keep everybody.

Giants brought back Aaron Ross - why I don't know. Jets are in total rebuilding mode. Rex (who's a lame duck coach) can't be thrilled with that, especially if he loses his best defensive player.

They lose Shonn Greene to the Titans, are considering cutting Revis and bring in Garrard to be competition to Sanchez. Yet I still dont see where they are going with this.

Elway's done a phenomenal job so far this free agency. Kept Vickerson, added a big DT in Knighton, got Welker, signed Vasquez for the o-line, and upgraded the corner position with Rodgers-Cromartie.

Hoping they can either sign a running back or a safety, and then trade down their 1st rd pick ( since they don't have a 2nd) and draft either the rb or safety, and grab a MLB.

And depending on how the Dumervil situation plays out, they might also sign Freeney to replace him and grab some D-line depth at the draft.

Super bowl favorites for sure right now.

Jets front office knows 2013 will be a lost season. I'll bet they're looking to the 2014 draft in the hopes of getting a stud like Clowney or Manziel.

If the Jets get the number one pick and don't draft Clowney there's seriously something wrong.

I bet sea hawk fans are happy..Percy Harvin and Cliff Avril? Crash

Dumervil and his agent tried to pull a fast one on the broncos to get that 12 million. Glad that elway was smart enough to release him still. Sleazy tactic. sneaky2.gif

Osi umeniyora wouldnt be a bad replacement or can draft one but id rather use the 1st on a safety or rb.

"According to USA Today, free agent Elvis Dumervil's player rep is blaming the Broncos for Friday's contract debacle.

As ESPN's Andrew Brandt would say, "there will be lawyers." Dumervil's rep is alleging the Broncos changed the terms of the sides' agreement at the last minute, delaying the process. Dumervil's camp reportedly sent its ill-fated fax at 3:55ET, right as the Broncos were cutting him out of a supposed abundance of caution. The sides have yet to talk since the fiasco. We'd expect many twists and turns over the next 48 hours. Mar 15 - 6:16 PM

This should be interesting to see what actually happned.

I can't complain about my Bears signings so far of Bennett and Bushrod, both fill major holes and are significant upgrades. I don't like the Bushrod signing as much, only because of the amount of money we paid, but if it gets Webb out of our LT spot I am all for it.

Hey Grandal, big time Raiders fan here. We just signed LB Nick Roach. Could I get your thoughts on him? I know he played the strong side, but he's projected to replace Rolando McClain here. Could he handle playing in the middle?

Roach played middle for us last season the final 4 games after Urlacher went down...again monocle.gif . The kid is versatile and a gamer, I have no doubt he can play middle permanently if given the opportunity. Congrats on getting such a solid player.

p.s. Vikings just signed Greg Jennings wow.gif

Hawks also signed Former Bucs DE/DT Michael Bennett to a 1 year $5mil deal...

We now have four Dlinemen with a total of 37.5 sacks.

As a Hawk fan this is an exciting offseason.

You just have to hope Russell Wilson doesn't suffer the 'sophmore jinx' like Cam did. Opposing coaches figure you out quickly in the NFL. How will Wilson, Luck & RGIII adjust? Should be a fascinating season. Now Seahawks-49ers is a dream matchup, lol.

The thing that is different from every other QB and Russell Wilson is his work ethic and preparation. He took 5 days off and thats it this offseason. He's still in seattle studing game film and emailing and texting what he thinks to the WRs. He texted Harvin the day the trade was announced to talk to him about game film. Dude is a machine. He aint human. nothing can get him away from the VMAC (the Hawks training facility).

Wilson is a gifted passer. Dude doesnt give up passing just because the line starts to collapse. he's not skidish like that. Watch some of his highlights

Goodell is a clown. He's slowly ruining the league with all these sh*tty rule changes and just changing the way the game is suppose to be played. Runningbacks can't lower their head and run over defenders? WTF is that? No point in having a power back anymore. Get this moron outta here.

I really, REALLY detest this commissioner. He's a ******* joke - like I've said, nothing but a highly paid errand boy for the owners. Always talks about player safety, yet he keeps pushing an 18-game schedule. And this new rule is as stupid as the tuck rule.

Pete Rozelle is spinning in his grave over what Goodell is doing to the NFL.

Yeah, you gotta respect that. I like this kid way too much for being a hardcore Colts fan. We got Luck, and I hope he has a great career with us, but there's something about Russell Wilson that makes you wish him success. He plugs his team after every interview. Go Hawks! You gotta love that kind of player.

No point in having a power back anymore. Get this moron outta here.

The most powerful and arguably the best runningback in NFL history, Jim Brown, didn't have to lower his head to plow through defenders. Plus, from what I've heard you can lower your head behind the line of scrimmage and a few yards ahead of that. Rule changes suck, but at this point, there is nothing no one can do except to live with and adjust to the changes.

I don't like the crown-of-helmet rule change at all, but I feel that if the rule of striking with the crown of the helmet was being applied to the defense it should be applied to the offense, as well. I don't like picking-and-choosing when to apply rules and throw flags. If you're going to have a rule that deals with striking with your helmet, it should be applied to all and not just to the defense in which the NFL is trying ever so hard to legislate out of the game.

And Seattle signed another Defensive Lineman... (fwiw the guy is an unrecognizable player so nothing major).

Is this damned offseason over yet? I just want some damn football, even if it is with the stupid RB Helmet rule.

Don't forget the draft next month.

Al Davis must be turning over in his grave. That stupid tuck rule screwed him out of a possible Super Bowl and started the Pats dynasty.

Or how he can draft Marquise Goodwin, being the fastest player this year's draft. tounge.gif

I miss Al Davis! Reggie Mckenzie is just tearing apart my Raiders right now. I'm still hoping for a good season but now I hear they've almost sealed the deal for a trade with the Seahawks for Flynn. Isn't that special? I'd rather let Terrell Pryor start and see what he can do, instead of wasting a draft pick on Flynn.

Yea, I thought I read something about the coaching staff being comfortable with Pryor. He was a enjoyable player to watch in his college days and you can only wonder if he can transition his game onto the pro level... well, they need to figure it out now, because Palmer said he wasn't going to restructure his contract (what a douche), he is getting paid way more than he is valued, and the Raiders should cut him.

Marquise Goodwin the fastest player in the draft? Did you not hear what that dude from Northern Iowa ran? His last name is Sinkfield and at his pro-day he unofficially ran a 4.19, which if that was at the combine it would've been the fastest time ever. Apparently that time has gotten all the scouts all wet and a few teams have already flown him in to talk to him.
