I haven't questioned his legacy, he is declining, and is lucky to have the best WR on his team. If he didn't, he would be hot garbage right now.

OBJ demands double coverage, hence other receivers getting good looks.

2015, 2011, 2012, and 2014 are his best statistical seasons. Is that declining?

Winning > stats :-P

God, I use to respect and enjoy watching Stephen A. but has been cringeworthy even before Skip left first take. He's annoying, screams, yells and calls people out of their name when someone disagrees.

If GB and the Vikes lose it will be a beautiful weekend.

Titans secondary is trash though. This game should be waay out of reach.

Jumping over the center for a blocked extra point, which would've gave the Saints the lead by 1 with 1:20 left, ran back for two points! Never seen a win that way, but i'll take it 25-23

Green bay is garbage, Vikings were just a fluke. Falcons, same trend as last year. Titans are solid

yeah it doesn't get any easier from here on out for the defending champs.

pretty sure we'll take a W any way we can get it.

at least we finally f/cking scored on the opening drive. that sh/t was getting really tedious..

Oakland Raiders and Dallas Cowboys atop of their division with records nobody thought they'd have at this point, with Green Bay and Carolina sucking ass... definitely an interesting year thus far.

The hardest schedule here on out. Mainly from chiefs x2, raiders and patriots, all with 7 wins.

Yea, we had like 5 plays of 10+ yards to four players on that drive. We just need to fix our red zone. 2.1yards a play down there, the worst.

had to do a double take on that Green Bay v Tennessee game, figured the scores were swapped. what world are we living in where the Titans drop damn near 50 on the Packers? jeez. just goes to show that there's never really a safe bet when it comes to the NFL (except that you can always count on the JETS BEING TRASH AS f*ck)

I needed to win this week to have a shot at the first seed (since I'm playing against the guy I'm tied for and he has more points scored than I do) and nearly lock in at least second seed for a bye. Got killed 160 to 122 (More depending on Eifert tomorrow).

With this loss, I need to win (I play a guy who gave up setting his line up, even with him trading away Elliot for Luck, such a bullsh*t trade) and to outscore one person since we're close in points. Depending on what Eifert does, I'll be ahead or behind. Maybe one more person to outscore, I had 66points over him but he's got 31 more points than me this week with AJ Green yet to play. He's the one that traded Luck for Elliott, but I guess other people didn't think that was a bs trade since the guy stopped changing his line up and traded away the best player..

Oh well, crazy how next week is the final week for regular season. Just need that two week bye.

And the NFC North sucks this year too.

And it is AWESOME.

Lol I meant AFC North but the comment still applies either way.

Hype. Easy road (on paper) to 8-3.

Of course we'll lose the next 2 because Giants but our next 2 games are extremely winnable and I'm excited.

It is what it is... he's Eli who does Eli things. Maybe he can pull the rabbit out of the hat again and win another super bowl. who knows? all I know is that he has been awfully fortunate to have OBJ, especially after that season you left out.

What are you on about? When has he pulled rabbits out of the hat other than the Tyree catch? Manningham throw is said by Greg Cosell and Joe Montana to be the best throw in Superbowl history. The guy has the playoff passing yardage record and has won 8 playoff games, 2 of them Superbowls vs the best NFL dynasty ever, 2 of them at Lambeau vs. Favre in 07 and prime Rodgers/GB in '12. Seriously, throw some respeck on his name. The hate he gets is ridiculous. There's a reason why people who know football, like you know, Joe Montana, say they'd take him over Romo, Rivers, etc any day of the week. And yes, I'd even take him over Ben because Ben gets hurt every other game.

The season I left out (2013) was bad. That wasn't a list of recent seasons, it was a list of his best statistical seasons. 2013 was a disaster.

8-3 seems right. I had them going 9-7 or 10-6 at best this season at the start. 10-6 looks more likely now. The O-line is still a complete disaster. Ball is going out in <2 seconds every snap. Has to be worst pass protection in the league. Need an o-line for January football and they just don't have it. Needs work. Flowers has actually played significantly better since the bye, but overall you can't scheme around sh*t personnel. You could combine playoff GOAT '12 Eli and 07 Brady into one super quarterback and you'd still lose with that o-line. No o-line = no pass protection = no run blocking = RBs will suck = 50 passes a game = can't burn clock and can't vary the playcalls.

I do like how they are using Newhouse as a 6th lineman, essentially conceding that the 5 can't do anything. It isn't an unheard of strategy. It worked well for the offense vs. the Eagles and just sucked tonight because Pugh AND Jones went down. The Raiders O-line, which is insanely good and flies under the radar to the Cowboy's o line, runs with 6 lineman out of something like 30-40 percent of snaps and it works very well for them.

Nice block on the PAT by the Broncos on Sunday. It's funny because I think the Saints were the first team to score the 2 point defensive PAT thing last year.

I'm a Cowboys fan, my job is to hate him, get over it.

I honestly like Romo, I think he's a less good Peyton Manning. He isn't clutch and doesn't perform well in big games, but he's a hell of a QB in the regular season. Basically the polar opposite of Eli.

If Trump is going to Make America Great Again btw, he needs to make NBC let Mike Tirico call the Thursday night games and not host that dumbass pre/post game show. Way too talented for that.

I honestly like Eli, but it's a love hate relationship when it comes to Giants fans. I usually defend Eli when talking to my fellow cowboy fanatics, like I've said before... His toughness is something a lot of people forget, he is a workhorse and at the end of the day he gets the job done. First ballot hall of famer, and he still has years left with OBJ.

How horrible is this Thursday night game going to be?

Nah, he's not even on that kind of level.

Plus, Peyton's team lets him down more than him not being clutch or performing well in the playoffs. http://www.footballnation.com/content/peyton-mannings-9-11-playoff-record-is-call-for-help/20868/It's an old article (he went 5-2 since with a SB win), but it clearly shows it's more on the team than him.

Just look back at the Ravens game. 70yd bomb to Jacoby Jones with 30 seconds left, on third down. Yet, we kneeled to go into overtime. That same year, the falcons had 30 seconds left and got into field goal range, but nope! That sh*t still pisses me off because we definitely would've won the SB that year, too.

Plus, Eli hasn't brought hims team to the playoffs since their last SB win.. lol Getting to the playoffs every year > Once every 5

Peyton's problem was that he was so good he was dragging teams to the playoffs that had otherwise no business being there. I know you're a staunch Peyton defender. I love Peyton, I think he's the second greatest QB to Brady. But, there is a truth to him not being as good in the playoffs. I don't buy the whole "Choke artist" thing at all, but there's been stuff written about how the media availability stuff in the playoffs aggravated his ability to game prep, his difficulty with audibles when playing in playoffs, etc. You can't argue with 18 years of statistics and blame it ALL on bad teams. That's exactly what Cowboys fans have done with Romo and his 2-9 record in win or go home games. But yes, the John Fox kneel down decision will go down as a top 10 playoff coaching blunder of all time.

Winning championships>going to the playoffs every year and not going anywhere. Do you want to be the Bengals? Hell, even the Packers have that issue. I'd take two Eli Manning Superbowls in the past 8 years over consecutive playoff appearances and no championships, or even one championship any day. As would any NFL player.

The Thursday night games suck for sure. I listened to an interview with Ray Lewis and supposedly all the players finally stop being sore from Sunday's game on Friday morning when they wake up. Go figure they have to play Thursday's once a year. Monday night football is workable but Thursday really sucks big time.

I look at it like this, a Peyton Manning-less team (2011 Colts) went 2-14 and the year before, basically the same team, they went 10-6 (Not gonna count last year when he missed games because he basically wasn't there all year anyways.). You're guaranteed 8 wins with Manning at QB, when those teams were probably no better than getting you 5 wins. Except for Denver, those team's were far better than those he had in Indy. Which is why I believe he and his teams would've done a loooooooooooooooooooot better if he played his entire career in Denver. The Colts organization just sucks. lol

Then you can look at Brady, had Belichick all of his career and without Brady, those team's went 11-5 and 3-1 (14-6). But yea, it's Brady and then everyone else. Though, I would still take Rofls, Brees, Rodgers, Wilson over Eli.

You can look at it that way or that you get 10 days+ before your next game after you have played on Thursday.

Also, the irony that the Patriots game ended on the 1 yard line with the team that had the ball not scoring. lol

Anyone else feel like Romo's speech seemed like he was about to retire?? LOL

Yeah, the 2-14 Colts thing without Manning vs 10-6 Pats w/o Brady is a testament to the consistency Brady has had throughout his career. When has Brady ever had a bad team around him? NEVER, not once in his entire career since 2000. Especially in the o-line department. He's always had studs there. Drew Brees has had bad teams since 2013. Eli Manning had probably the worst offensive talent, especially o-line in 2013 and still isn't great o-line now. We're seeing now that Aaron Rodgers with a sh*t team around him faces the same trouble these guys do. He has thrown a ton of picks this year trying to win games on his own and is throwing the ball about 50-60 times a game because there's no running game and no explosive plays down the field. No quarterback other than Peyton Manning has been able to take otherwise garbage teams to great records/playoff success.

On that list, Eli is better than all of them except for Brees. Russell Wilson is fantastic but has a lot of a way to go to surpass him, but he's remarkably similar. Throws the ball deep, takes chances, and has a clutch gene. Only difference is Wilson is extremely mobile. Aaron Rodgers is great but he's a garbage teammate and doesn't play well in big games. Listen to Gteg Jennings take a sh*t on how much people in the locker room hate Rodgers. He called him Jay Cutler w/ a SB ring.

So, final week of the season in FF.

http://games.espn.com/ffl/standings?leagueId=213069&seasonId=2016

Scenarios for me to get a bye week is: Win + loss by Mr Irrelevant while keeping my points lead of 28 over him. Also, need to make sure to outscore The Last Dragon (currently have 8 point lead) if he wins, as well.

I play a guy who gave up, so just need to score a sh*t ton of points and hope everything else works out. Last week was huge loss, played Rock Chalk, a win then would've made things easier..
