Peyton is the kind of guy who can't afford to get injured. It was his neck injury that gave Indy the excuse to boot him off the team(this was his first major season ending injury). Then when he got hurt this year, everyone is like "lol he's gonna be benched from here on".

 

Same thing happened with Alex Smith. Guy gets hurt, and Colin takes over for good. It seems like in this day and age in the NFL, you CANNOT get hurt. I can understand injury prone guys like "I always break something trivial"- Clowney. but damn, QBs are being hit by guys weighting 400+ running at them at 20+MPH. What the hell you think is going to happen sooner or later?

Wilfork, maybe. But those big guys don't hit the QB running 20mph though. They're not Von Miller ffs.

I drafted a 400 pound OT in Madden 13 once.

 

Dude had good ratings but always sucked. Cut his fat ass and then he became a HOFer somewhere else.

Stafford doesn't have that problem. Even when Caldwell benched him in the Cardinal blowout, you knew that sh*t wasn't permanent. His backup was Dan(run out the back of the endzone) Orvlovsky.

 

Kicked some sense into his ass, though.
