Eli manning most clutch playoff QB ever

Brb leading 9-7 team to a Super Bowl on road wins

The NFL is freaking rigged. It is owned by the zionist who say they are Jews but are from the synagogue of Satan. They script the outcomes of all major sports. The "white broncos" vs the "black panthers." Vegas is going to make a ton of money. Everyone will bet on the Panthers to win and lo and behold, Broncos win. Manning walks off into the sunset winning the Superbowl on some WWE storyline type. Just like Elway, oh by the way was also drafted by the Colts and retired with the Broncos. Boycott the NFL!!!

PS: tom Brady just can't beat a Manning brother in the playoffs

long read but has a point. the NFL isn't a sport, its entertainment ;)

Yeah I don't think so, I just copied and pasted that off of some lunatic's Facebook comment. Pretty sure it's a sport.

Nah sorry only from the most highly respected statisticians outside of the academic world

Too bad that he's pretty sh*t at making it to the playoffs tho.

Being clutch in the playoffs doesn't matter when the guy can't even get there.

You're right, it's the QB and only the QB that dictates a team's record.

No other factors whatsoever.

Hoyer > Eli, Brees, Stafford, Rivers, etc. amirite?

Never said that.

What I said was...

It doesn't matter if he's clutch in the playoffs, since he can't get there in the first place.

And it's not exactly his fault he can't get there.

When you can have the best year of your career and go 6-10, it really speaks of the team around him.

f*ck, when did our pass rush get so, so bad?

When members of your team decided that it was a good idea to play with explosives.

Plus, the other good pass rushers aren't on the team anymore. Blaim the GM for not replacing them.

It's a miracle that he was able to keep his job.

Geralt of Rivia

It's a make or break year for him.

He's got Eli, he's got ODB, he's got cap room, he's got draft picks, he's got a deep defensive draft.

Eli picked second overall at Pro Bowl

It's amazing how many people are stuck in 2013 when there was no O line and the offensive scheme they were running for Eli was "throw the ball and hope someone catches it"

Brb 35 td 14 int

He can get to the playoffs with marginal teams. Look at the 2011 Giants. 9-7, 20 something ranked defense and no run game.. Yet he pulled it out. Right now the Giants are 32nd in defense and lack offense talent apart from Manning himself and OBJ and arguably Rashad Jennings.

I was looking at some stats and saw Stafford, he had a really quiet, pretty good - great year.

Firing (not Vince)Lombardi and promoting ole Jim Bob Cooter did wonders the second half of the season.

Nobody is saying Eli is at fault for making the playoffs.. but you know damn well it's always the QB who takes the heat, you know, like the heat his brother takes for his post-season resume? Eli has proven he is a great post-season QB, its a shame HE can't make it every other year or so.

Speaking of Peyton, if the Broncos wins, he will be the most decorated QB in NFL history. Combining Super Bowl wins with MVP awards(which is a better assessment of who's the best), he would have 7 and end his winning record in the playoffs (he was 7-6 at one point).

DESTINY!

MVP awards(which is a better assessment of who's the best),

MVP awards are based on opinion though. Super Bowls are not.

There were a couple of years when he got the award that there were others who were just a deserving of it as he was. But, there was a time when the voters gave it too him simply for having a great year.

And he has a massive amount of all-pro's

A lot of them were made all-pros because of him.

Exactly.

MVP awards are given to the best player, Super Bowls are won by the team, so be it, by getting hot at the right time or by the best team.

2009 was the only year where it could've been given to any of the runner-ups, otherwise, Peyton ran away with it.

And, well, duh? MVP are given to a player for having a great year.

Either way, Peyton's going into his fourth SB appearance with his fourth different head coach (also a first). If he had someone like Belichick, he would've easily been to more Super Bowls with more wins.

The Colts organization totally f*cked him and the team over for not getting more wins.

Oh well. I'm sure he doesn't care, he just wants to win and go out on top.

Get off his dick man!!! He's going in to the Hall of Fame as a Colt. You're not gonna change that. :p

Yeah it's amazing how important he was to the colts when they went from 13-3? With him to first overall pick when he went out with the neck injury

I don't think he'll go into the HOF as a colt.. It's as an individual player I'm pretty sure and the team isn't included. He should go on both team's rings of honor though.. His 2013 numbers as a Bronco are absolutely stunning.

Peyton's also the first player to bring multiple franchises to multiple Super Bowls.

It's unreal.

I doubt he will go in as a Colt, that franchise totally screwed him over. Not just the 2011 crap, either.

Now he just needs to be the first QB to lead a team to victory with two different franchises. ;)

What's funny about that, the Browns have been the sh*ttiest team in the last 15 years and haven't had a No. 1 pick in the draft. The Colts, suck (for luck) for one year and get probably another 15 years of a franchise QB. lols

I don't think so. He's taken a hell of a f*cking beating his first 2 years in the league before getting injured this year.

Even the most durable get injured.

How do you explain Eli?

Anyways, yes, everyone gets injured. But the most durable play through injuries. Just look at Favre.

Brett Favre was a god damn Terminator with a mouth. You'll never see something like that again, even in this QB tutu wearing day and age.

Eli's gotten injured multiple times. He had surgery after the 2013 season because he hurt his ankle. Didn't finish that game.

Luckily he's never missed a start. Thank god that ankle injury was week 17.

You know who else has never missed a game on the Giants?

Lol trick question. Everyone else is dead at one point or another.
