Plus, they are in the NFC West, so it's fine.

I wished the Raiders did move though, another game to go to.

I'll be happy if the Rams tank, never win another super bowl, and lose Kroenke money.

Meh, he made a business decision. That property is going to make him a lot of money, regardless of how good/bad the Rams will play.

Not to mention, the value of the Rams franchise will sky rocket. It is expected to become the most valuable franchise in the NFL. That's a big jump from being ranked in the 20's.

He made the right decision.

He made the businiess decision the day the Rams moved from La to STL. he's been getting ready for this day for the last 22 yrs

right. they just want any excuse to be in LA so bad.

the NFL and rich ego-stroking douchebags. they can't see past bright lights or big cities.

it didn't matter what St Louis or any other market offered in return. even though LA has shown that it doesn't care about sports, and the AP recently named St Louis one of the best sports cities in America, wealthy fag/got money just wants to be in LA surrounded by other wealthy fag/gots. apparently being rich doesn't mean anything unless you can be rich where other people are rich and the air is polluted with smog and the scent of forest fires.

you know....

Hollywood!

he's a greedy fag/got. brain cancer can't come soon enough for this cock sucker.

It doesn't really matter that what he said about St Louis is complete crap. LA will always be the better option for him. He's running a business after all. Looking at it from a business point of view, moving to LA is the right move.

So what if he's greedy? Who are you/we to tell someone "you shouldn't want to make more money"?

even though LA has shown that it doesn't care about sports

According to the numbers I've seen, LA has one of the best records of attendance in sports.

According to this, they are ranked last. lol

I don't see them going from under $1bil, to over $3bil with the move. Maybe $1.5-2b, but the Cowboys will still own that fact.

They were in the LA market a lot longer than they were in the STL market. More money for him, who cares. Business is business.

wow.

I hope you never register to vote.

also I'm not "just mad."

if you would open at least one of the links I've been posting all this time, you might learn something. like the fact that most of what has been said about the economic viability of St Louis being complete garbage. simple facts. you either want to read them, or you want to ignore them and just stick to your talking points.

"oh, he's mad."

yes, keep saying that about an issue you don't understand...

Too late. I don't agree with people who are billionaires caring about getting even richer. But I'm not gonna tell someone "that's enough, you cant have any more money", because I sure as hell wouldn't let someone tell me that

Stan wanted to be a pro sports NFL owner but he doesn't care about the NFL or sports.

he wants the status symbol to add to his toy collection so he can just add another line to his portfolio. the California market is saturated with sports franchises where other (much more diehard sports cities) are left without. the LA market is saturated with entertainment in general with sports being low on the list, competing with 100s of other events any given night.

LA has gained and been unable to hold on to multiple teams at this point.

they don't really care about their sports.

Kroenke's bottom line was not hurting in St Louis.

him being the owner is just a symbol of power. he wants status. he doesn't care about the pastime of sports. if he did, he would recognize that the Rams already have one of the best homes in the country.

That only takes into account winning percentage though. And I'm pretty sure Kroenke doesn't care about the baseball or hockey teams there.

it's not just winning %.

the Blues have never won a Cup and they turn out record attendance annually.

the Cards are the Cards.

and the Rams never actually accomplished anything important until they got to St Louis.

but Stan bought the Rams just to take them away and everyone could see it coming.

he didn't buy the franchise in order to try and improve it. he didn't buy it because he really cares about football. he didn't buy it because he loves the game or the team or the history. and he didn't care what kind of incredible offers were made to him from one of the best sports cities in America. he just wants to be a movie star.

it just smacks of everything that is wrong with this country in general, especially when it comes to pro sports.

The Blues have been f*cking OP lately though. And the Cardinals are one of the premier organizations in baseball. Of course they are going to have huge attendance numbers

the funny thing is, even though he moved the rams. he started buying the inglewood land back in 94, knowing damn well he will move them back.

yeah that's the real point here.

intentions.

Stan bought the Rams without any intention of improving the Rams.

the entire plan was to let them languish, make weak player moves, make little-to-no improvements to the current stadium, etc. his ownership was not intended to do anything for the Rams, it was intended to make Stan a Hollywood boy.

Rams fans shouldn't complain anyway.

They moved to St Louis because of a better stadium deal and now they're doing the same thing again, just reversed.

can you just stop telling us that we shouldn't complain?

because that's stupid and you know it.

a lot of people grew up with that team and they accomplished more in STL than they ever did in LA. they're our team more than they were ever LAs team.

we'll disagree about whatever, but don't tell us that we don't have the right to feel the way we feel.

4 winning seasons in 20 years. Wow, what an accomplishment.

They had 30 winning seasons in about 50 years in LA. More playoff appearances as well. Plus they won a NFL championship.

Saying they accomplished more in St Louis is just ignorant.

They definitely belong in LA.

but they did accomplish more.

nobody talks about NFL championships except your grandpa.

Super Bowl rings make legacies and LA has none to show.

how do they "belong" in a city that couldn't even hang on to them the first time?

You can't really discount a championship just because it wasn't called "Super Bowl". Those championships created legacies back then. But the new generation of football fans, who don't know the history of the game, discount those championships based on something as arbitrary as the name of the championship game. What did the Rams win in LA? A NFL championship. What did they win in St Louis? A NFL championship aka a Super Bowl. Same sh*t, different name.

The history of the Rams is in LA. In St Louis they had what, 4 good years.

The Rams is a LA team and now they returned to their home.

How many legends played in LA for the Rams? And how many played in St Louis?

Deacon Jones, Jack Youngblood, Merlin Olsen, Jackie Slater, Eric Dickerson, Norm Van Brocklin. These are just a few, that I could think of right away, of the LA Rams legends.

Don't say that the Rams accomplished more in St Louis, please. It just makes it seem like you don't know what you're talking about.

Or, we could just agree to disagree.

yeah youtube memes are cute and all, in lieu of any point you'd rather make.

NFL championships weren't Super Bowls.

it was a very different era. simple as that. and counting great players from the golden days still didn't add up to enough of a reason for LA to care about the Rams 20 years ago.

so like I said, why would they care now?

how does it belong to LA any more than St Louis? championships and legends apparently weren't enough to keep them there the first time. now they're going to share the city with the Chargers? what a joke.
