wow that f/cking Ice Bowl game turned out to be pretty god damn exciting.

 

weather clearly affected all aspects of play.

but it's just awesome seeing every breath they take blast out like steam all over the field.

 

that's probably one of the last great dividers between American football and any other sport is the conditions they're willing to play in.

They're too worried about stats nowadays. Plus, the owners seem to see stadiums like some kind of dick measuring contest.

Not necessarily. Besides today, I rooted for the Vikes when they had Favre. Hell, aside from the Packers the last 5 or so years, I really don't hate any team in the Ole Black & Blue division.

We're a bunch of greedy assholes in the NFC East. It's either one of us or none of us.

 

GTA, I've tried in recent years with MUT, couldn't get into it. I actually haven't tried Draft Champions, I'll at least give it go. I'm a Franchise type of guy, I always have since Madden '95, which wasn't even a "franchise", t'was a single season.

 

I've actually drifted away from online play, it's been at least 5-6 years since I put in 10-20 online matches in one season.

 

This Washington team is really clicking, though. Its a shame the Packers are playing like sh*t. It's strange seeing Aaron Rodgers overthrow wide open receivers, but the protection is f*cking horrible. Doesn't help Eddie Lacy and the running attack is irrelevant... looks like another overrated Alabama runningback going down the drain.

Saturday's game in Cincy reminded me of those mid-1970s matchups between Noll's Steelers & Madden's Raiders....an old fashion blood feud. It was brutal and I loved every minute of it.

 

If I'm the Texans' owner, I fire the coach ASAP. You finally get near the goal line, you're desperate for points, and you bring in Watt, who loses yardage - are you f*cking kidding me????? This is the playoffs, not exhibition or the regular season!!!!!! EVERY possession is crucial.
