HOW'S ANNIE?
Getting out my old Nintendo 64 the other day, I found Body Harvest (undoubtably one of me favourite N64 games) which was created by DMA design before becoming Rockstar North. Brief description of the game (from Wikipedia)- the player assumes the role of soldier Adam Drake, who must investigate and eliminate an alien attack force that has returned every 25 years to "Harvest" the human population. Now it may seem cheesy (even for the late 90's), but seeing as what great gaming Rockstar has come out with over the last few years, I would really love to see this game get rebooted somehow, but in a more 21st century, and mature way (assuming they still have the rights to it). Use this topic to just simply show whether or not you're against this idea, or use this as some type of ideas/wishlist topic. I really would like to see a movement to have this remade backed by a community of both general gamers, and Rockstar fans.

Secura
Yeah it seems like this game's got a ton of potential, though I doubt it'll happen since the original game didn't sell too well and it wouldn't really fit the kind of games that Rockstar are making nowadays. The story seems too, I don't know 'wacky' for Rockstar to bother with, especially in this generation of gaming. Even Call of Duty's story gets torn apart for being entirely unbelievable and this game's not really got a story that's up to the standard of even those games. It'd fit better perhaps if Volition developed it considering they're always making the wild and wacky Saints Row games and after the story in Saints Row The Third, it wouldn't surprise me to see them turn to doing something like this. Rockstar seem to have turned away from that style of game (or just the style of the 90's gaming scene in general) to tell more deep engaging stories rather then sacrifice story telling for gameplay. Of course we'll have to see how Grand Theft Auto V turns out first, but if it's more of Rockstar's deep storytelling then it's not too likely this franchise will be getting a reboot anytime soon. It's a shame too as the idea of Rockstar setting a game across multiple time periods really appeals to me, though I guess Rockstar have already given us games set around a rather vast section of history. From the wild western times in the early 1800's all the way to the present day with Grand Theft Auto V. That said, I'd still love to go and blow the crap out of a small western town with an MP5 and a RPG-7.
RARusk
What they could do, if they wanted, is to touch up the graphics, sound, and controls and make it an unlockable bonus within GTA V. "One day I will think of this as just another job. After all, this is what I do."
SaintJimmy
Body Harvest was my favorite single player game for Nintendo 64. And with R*'s recent commentary on their willingness to dive into the science-fiction world...I'd absolutely sh*t bricks if they pulled this out of the grave

Don't you think though that if it's just a generic reboot as opposed to a remake, Rockstar could re-write the story to make it seem a lot more mature? AceRay
I'd love to see R* tackle a sci fi sandbox game, it would be boss. With flying cars and futuristic cities and sh*t. I'd love it.
Daz
Loved this game to death, I couldnt grasp that you were allowed to drive AND shoot. It was amazing. Though I think this was one of the very few games I have ever got stuck on, I remember being stuck on some section and have no idea how to progress, I would just sit on the shore line and stare at the other island for hours just wishing I could get there.
