Tycek
Looks sweet. If somebody can pull the new demolition derby out it's definitely Bugbear. Edited February 23, 2013 by Tycek

Durden
PRAISE the lord. I kinda wish they waited for next gen consoles though. How do we know this game won't be for next gen? Looks like a sick game, btw. I've never played any demolition derby games before (unless you count Twisted Metal and RAGE, but they use guns), but this does look fun. Cosmic Gypsy
Although the graphics are impressive they don't look next gen to me, site says that is gameplay footage though which is cool.
Durden
We shouldn't have such high expectations for next-gen games' graphics. Especially very early launch games. Besides, the graphics are pretty good, and the game probaly isn't even physically polished yet. We're at the point now I think, where every game announced from here on will be available on next gen. It doesn't make much sense for this game to be current-gen-exclusive.
Cosmic Gypsy
it's not like my next gen expectations are too high, this games just looks obviously current gen judging by the video shown above... EDIT : So i'm trying to join the BugBear forums, each time i try it gives me this error... An Error Has Occurred! The user -MY USER NAME- with Email -MY EMAIL- (IP -MY IP-) is a Spam, please contact forum administrator. I have tried both my email adresses. I have never been a member of bugbear forums before in my life and i see no option to contact the forum administrator, on the error page or on the community forums in general. Plus wtf does it mean when it says i'm a spam, doesn't even make any sense. Edited February 24, 2013 by Cosmic Gypsy

Ex Hellraiser
Meh, game looks fun, but I'm not impressed. 2 things: 1: The only gameplay seen in this trailer is demo derby, not racing. If demo derbies are the only game mode, it will bore quickly. 2: Having played all three FlatOut games (1, 2, Ultimate Carnage), this game looks almost the same. Similar cars, similar graphics. The damage model in Ultimate Carnage was very detailed, and this trailer doesn't seem to show any real upgrade from it. It even looks like a similar (if not, the same) engine from the last game, and looks very much like current gen. Until I see more, this is one car game that is going by the wayside for me. Freakorama
You can't go wrong with bugbear. Flatout: Ultimate Carnage is probably my favourite destruction derby game ever. There aren't enough of them.
69_black_69
Agree with fatality that the game looks almost the same with the previous FlatOut series developed by Bugbear. But that isn't a bad thing for me, because FlatOut Series is the best racing game i've ever played. Having the possibilities to slam, crash, wreck, and sent the opponent flying through their car window into their doom is always satisfies me. Not to mention that each opponent have different personalities, make the game more enjoyable than just having a randomly-named-opponent. f*ck Yess! FlatOut 2 was the best for me, especially because of the soundtrack.
Ex Hellraiser
Yeah, Flatout2 had the best soundtrack of about any game I've ever played. Rob Zombie, Yellowcard, Rise Against, everything epic. They butchered that soundtrack for Ultimate Carnage, though. A couple good ones, but for the most part, unknown to me.
friendly luggage
FlatOut 1 and 2 were my favourites. I hope this new game doesn't just have destruction derby because that gets boring pretty quick. The damage system doesn't look amazing although it could change and I would have prefered they left all the instagram effects out the video. Cosmic Gypsy
If this game is only for 360/PC like Ultimate Carnage then i think i might have to brutally murder some people..
Ex Hellraiser
Well, I'll tell you that Ultimate Carnage is nothing really to get angry over. It was essentially FlatOut 2 with a 4 new drivers (i think), and a different soundtrack. The original PS2 version was better for the money IMO. Nothing. It's the first time i liked every single song used in a game.
Cosmic Gypsy
I played FlatOut 1 and 2, 2 of the best racing games even to this day. Can anyone remind me of the soundtrack?
Fireman
I tink I might've played Flatout 1, but I didn't like the closed-off tracks. I want be able to drive around in an open world and drive over some people while trying to destroy the opponent. So that's why I'm waiting for Carmageddon However I did always like the "arena brawls" in Destruction Derby.

69_black_69
Wow, man. Judging how good the soundtrack is with just one band? Seriously? And I don't know why all the hate about Nickelback? "Flat on the Floor" the only one of their song in FlatOut 2, was simply amazing, and fit in the game. I don't judge how good is the music based on who played them anyway. I don't even know who is Rob Zombie, Yellowcard, Rise Against, Fall Out Boy, WolfMother, Alkaline Trio, Papa Roach, Underoath, etc before playing FlatOut 2. Give it a chance and you'll see why it was that good. Back on-topic, i just hope that there's gonna be some new awesome stunt in the game, you know, like the football, baseball, bowling, skipping stone and such. They're so much fun to play with friends.
