Remember a phone tracking mission in SA?

I thought as an option (by default turned off) whenever you have a mission and have to follow a car, keeping up with current tech could use phone tracing in order to first find the vehicle. could have the phone up in the corner of the screen pinging every few seconds. an say after 30 seconds in close proximity you'd get the normal lock on radar and maybe something above the vehicle.

 

considering GTA has no difficulty setting as such this could be a little something extra, completing the game with this feature turned on could give an extra trophy/achievement

in a mission in san fierro you had to find a guy by has mobile phone signal

You mean like triangulating? It would be great if at one point you would have to stall for time on the phone with a guy in order to keep him from hanging up for another 30 seconds while your computer triangulates his position. That would be something straight out of Burn Notice! Or let a captive FIB agent to call his people when he thinks you're not looking and triangulate their location before they can get yours and shoot the phone out of his had just before they can get the exact spot. The possibilities are endless. Seems like a cool idea.
