Agreed. R* are still developing games such as Agent. Yes they are or they would have just cancelled the game by now. I honestly think Agent will be R*'s first next gen game, hence why they are in the developers list+ they will develop more games for the platform in the future as well so....... In my opinion there is no way GTA V is coming to the PS4 any time soon because Sony have already said that the console will not be backwards compatible. Also some people here seem to imply that porting a game is 'easy' somewhat and it will 'make them more money' but it isn't like that in reality. The PS4 software is not the same as the PS3 and R* don't know how to develop/port games for the platform yet. R* are struggling enough with V anyways with the current platforms which was clearly evident through the delay. Also people need to understand that R* aren't as big as a company such as EA so they don't have as many resources. They have not even announced the PC version yet and some people are already hungry for the next gen version. What ideas could they have had back then that they haven't used in all the games since then? New hardware, new chance to think bigger and deeper. They have a bunch of other games. They might be porting a few games or working on new titles. This does not indicate weather or not they are or not, porting or not, gta v or not, on ps4 or not. Probably some other game, but not GTA V. It might be Agent or a new Red Dead Redemption game. If GTA V had to be released or developed for PS4, anytime soon, then Rockstar would surely hint their fans. Also, it's highly possible that, being a top-class Gaming brand, they have access to dev-kit and plan to release or create future games on it. The ps4 will not natively support Ps3 games. Ps3 has the Cell chip, the ps4 is based on a x86 chip. To even consider porting GTA V to Ps4 will take a lot of work. Why are you so surprised that Rockstar Games has plans on making games for PS4? I mean, this is Rockstar Games... not some horse and pony developer. When Sony announced the PS Vita, they showed a Rockstar Games logo, as well. And we all know what happened with that... Rockstar Games is a developer and publisher of video games - not just GTA. Go down their list of releases and see how many games they have released over the years that is NOT a GTA title. Locking this as this thread has turned into the same kind of discussion that is going on across multiple next-gen threads that popped up tonight, i.e. "GTAV is a next-gen title/is GTAV a next-gen title?".
