dagangsta
I mainly care about Hip Hop / Rap stations like Beat 102.7 and the Classics 104.1 and also about Liberty Rock Radio 97.8, so now I was thinking about the DJs, eg we could have Snoop Dogg as a DJ for The Classics. I know it's nothing big or important but it's better to have a good DJ.

gsbadreligion
djs benefit the overall game atmosphere because i know i get a certain mood when driving a fast car down a highway with good music playing(gta has always had great djs so expect someone good). gotta say the best old one would of been 2pac or biggie but snoop could pull it off or ice cube. CalgaryJay
It may have just been rumour mill fodder, but I recall hearing a couple months ago that Aziz Ansari may be a DJ for one of the hip hop stations. IMO that would be a perfect cast, I really hope its true. DJ ROOMBA, TEARIN IT UP!!
Rjeev142
Well the rapper Game said that he did some Voiceover work for gta 5 and since main story characters won't be played by celebrities. I think it's safe to say that he's a radio dj, or may make a "cameo" appearance as a guest on the radio, like busta rhymes was in tbogt.

Shaunr
I've been thinking R* may go all out and put in David Bowie for a rock and roll station. imagine that- a rock and roll god as a DJ in GTA. That's probably R*'s dream to get Bowie to DJ in the game so hopefully they make it a reality.

ak1993
I would love if Henry Rollins was a DJ, he would say yes if asked. ^ this! he could host a punk rock station- black flag, dead kennedys, minor threat, bad brains etc... Jello Biafra would also be an awesome DJ, his sarcastic tone would suit the tongue-in-cheek approach R* takes towards radio stations and the media in general

Jello Biafra would also be an awesome DJ, his sarcastic tone would suit the tongue-in-cheek approach R* takes towards radio stations and the media in general We're not getting another punk station in V. That's fine. Too much of a good thing and all that, particularly since LCHC and Radio Broker to an understandable extent covered it. Guitar based music will all be based around the 50's, 60's and 70's including influence of later generations IMO. Punk music in the broadest sense will be absent, due to it's DIY and retort against trational values. This seems very much at odds with Calfornia serenity and folklore of paridise for the family man, the free spirit and the entrepreneur. The exception may be that teenage pop punk bull, since the setting would be fitting for a Youth rebellon as a maketable commodity. As for Rollins I hope for a rowdy classic rock Dj or talk show host. richard1997jones
I like tommy the nightmare smith from kdust but seeing as SA was based in the early 90's I'm guessing no but from emotion on VC the dj was in iv and that was set in the 80's. Wjlld
I figure the DJ programming will be overhauled, for instance announcing the artist we will hear in the next bracket and/or recapping them. Perhaps also a further focus may be placed on the character arc of each DJ or at least a narrative as the game progresses. Imagine if Aziz's radio personality was mocked for not being a "player", so he sleeps with some high profile women and has a huge ego boost, eventually becoming paranoid that the various pissed of boyfriends are seeking retribution. We heard this type of narrative on Wctr in SA, so it's possibility.
dorcy
Kent Paul as the voice of Vice FM. i don't think Dyer had much work last year and one of the artworks featured a Love Fist shirt, so maybe he'll be back. off topic Axl Rose is a cock.
