If not, this LS better have a city and suburbs area twice or three times that of LC and countryside the size of True crime streets of la's area. Anyway in terms of maps and territories, I don't think R* would list everything there is to the map, simply because - why?! Of course they're not going to list everything, but there's a huge difference between cities, and environments within the city/map. They won't show us every environment, but they would tell us every city. This is from the Dan Houser interview at IGN "For us, this kind of world, that was a big properly-realized L.A. and a huge slab of regionally appropriate countryside, felt like the most interesting match to do something new with. Doing other cities just didn't seem appealing. Doing small towns is very appealing. There's a bunch of small towns and villages and whatnot in there to discover and play around in. Doing other cities, though, felt like it was going to create problems we didn't need. It wasn't going to add to the experience. Of course you could do a game with a bunch of cities now that could be pretty interesting, but we didn't think that was going to be this game. This map is going to be spectacular to people when they start exploring and playing around with it." This isn't debatable. This isn't an opinion. It's 100% confirmed there will be no other cities. I believe the map will be more focused on natural environments rather than just metropolis centres(ofcourse,exception being Los Santos), as wasn't the case for the most of previous games. The Scottish Guy Posted February 19, 2013 Share Posted February 19, 2013 As I've mentioned before, a San Diego (or any secondary city) to the scale of LC's Alderney would be enough to wet my beak, and I don't see this being an impossibility, given the reputed size of V - one city would feel kind of empty imo. Andreas Posted February 19, 2013 Share Posted February 19, 2013 I never expected multiple cities in GTA V, not even before the game was announced or before the press release in November 2011. IF there are more cities then they will be obviously not big and most likely only in the size of Alderney City or Tudor and Acter combined but not much bigger. That's relatively small if you compare it to the size of Los Santos that is going to be bigger than Liberty City from GTA IV. Right exactly. They specifically said they're not doing multiple cities. They said one city and smaller towns (with a countryside and a desert) during the V reveal in November.
