Andrewp86
Hey everyone, I need some help. I'm new to this forum(just signed up), and I am having problems with GTA IV on my computer. It's a HP Pavilion 20(that's what it says on the top right hand corner of pc) All In One Desktop computer with Windows 8, which I brought a week and a half ago. The game will load up, and then start to lag like nothing I have ever seen before with other games. Is there anything i can do to stop it from lagging??? And as it's a new computer it has a lot of free space. But I was beginning to wonder if the Apps on the computer are causing it to lag
Prometheus
You should have posted this in the IV PC Performance forum. Anyways you can install speccy and post the results here, as we need to know more about your laptop's specs. Perhaps you could also post the graphics settings you're using in-game, or a benchmark. thebestgameever
Well when talking about PC gaming problems...ALWAYS list your full PC specs ( what's in side, cpu, gpu, ram etc)
unc13bud
if i get model number, i can usually look up specifications. AMD E-Series Dual-Core E1-1200 1.4 GHz (1 MB Cache) with ONBOARD VIDEO hd 7310 http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Radeon-HD-7310.70634.0.html and its AMD, so that means its 80 shaders mean squat. its like nvidia's 16 shaders so original poster has to do just like i told the other cat - turn off all eye candy (SHADOWS), reduce view/detail distance, etc.
