What real life district from Los Angeles that were not in San Andreas would you wish to see? Independent cities count. I want to see Malibu.

crenshaw district.. how the hell did they leave a crenshaw parody out in san andreas. Good topic though

It'd be cool to see San Diego. I wonder if there would be border references, like closed border posts.

I don`t know what the Crenshaw district is, but I`ll check it out on Google.

A lot. Though a lot what I'm going to be listing aren't "districts", they're still parts of the LA Metro/surrounding areas that were notably left out.

*Crenshaw, now that was a big one. It's another ghetto, though admittedly half of LS was a ghetto anyway, still they should have added it.

*San Fernando Valley. They did add it, but all it was was countryside and hick towns. No real middle class suburbs in SA.

*Orange County. Not a district of LA, but a notable neighbor. It would have been nice to see an island with upper class housing to the east of LS, but I guess they couldn't add it.

*A lot of Hollywood was missing in my opinion too.

*The Beverly Hills. Sure, they added the Rodeo district, but they never added the residential Beverly Hills. Glad we're seeing it in V.

*Century City, which is where a good amount of West LA's skyscrapers lie. Most left out in SA.

It appears that all these areas will likely be seen. It is possible that the SFV is merged with the SGV, as seen in trailer one (suburban sprawl north of Downtown), and the fact that the SFV can't be seen in other screenshots. V's Orange County might not be directly connected with LS as in real life, and might be separated by mountains, which is OK, as long as it has some representation.

That's not LA. Anyways, I'd love to see these neighborhoods:

•Bel Air - I'd favor this neighborhood simply because of it's architecture and layout. Lovely 50's style, Retro, hillside houses in these beautiful dry hills. This place has always been a favorite of mine.

•Venice(not just it's beach) - We already know there is a beach based on this section of LA, Vespucci Beach. But will they only add the beach and a few landmarks from the area, or will they do what they did in LC? Add random buildings and shops in that people regularly ignore?

•Rancho -something-(I cannot recall it's full name) - Los Santos is a supposedly a sprawling metropolis(however it's not really that big imo, that's BS), and not everybody who works there just lives in some apartments or houses smack dab in thr middle of LS. They live in the suburbs. V needs suburbs, it wouldn't feel right without them.

Now onto the neighborhood itself. I just adore the italian renaissance style houses there and the layout. Also has favorable views,of the ocean. Why not have it? Seriously? If I were a developer at R*...

The San Fernando Valley, of course! I want CityWalk/Universal Studios, Mission San Fernando, Hansen Dam, Rocky Peak Park, Ventura Boulevard, shopping malls, suburbs, ranches, etc.

I also wanted San Pedro, which looks like its was cut and replaced with LSX. sad.gif

I've never been to LA, so I have no idea what the districts are. I guess the library that was in LA Noire.

Although, I'm going to Anime Expo in July, so I'll have been to a small portion of LA downtown.

You don't have to be there to know it.

I want to see the edge of the map be the border of Mexico, that would be cool

Venice and Santa Monica have hipster and modern art districts with pretentious galleries, shops and restaurants, and avante garde art/dance/music. GTAV could parody these things.

Palos Verdes PV or Rancho Palos Verdes RPV is the upscale suburban hill in coastal Los Angeles. They tried it with Verdant Meadows in GTA-SA and crazily put Griffith Observatory there. Looks like that situation will be improved in GTAV. Its a huge section of coastal LA, with a road that loops all the way around.

The trails and roads in the GTAV-era Observatory and Vinewood sign look good.

Maybe as an anachronism they could have parody Laserium shows in the Observatory dome and have Love Fist songs as the musical accompaniment. I also wish they would actually include an astronomy / science museum inside the Griffith Observatory with cosmic ray cloud chamber and seismograph, and have a little feature to look through the Observatory telescopes at astronomical objects (not as a parody but as an homage - that place is a true landmark).

Gated neighborhoods / estates and estates could be included in the PV hills (the community of Rolling Hills) and Rockford Hills. They could include Mt Olympus, where the rich studio people live, and maybe have rent-a-cops chase you if you breach their enclaves. Nearby are the Hollywood Hills and Laurel Canyon, very steep lots and places where where rich rock stars have views of LA. They did an effort at this is GTA-SA. I hope it is more fully and accurately implemented in GTAV.

I also wanted San Pedro, which looks like its was cut and replaced with LSX.

Yes, the airport was in a weird place in GTA-SA. It looks like San Pedro (the port anyway) will be included in GTAV since we see cranes and the Vincent Thomas Bridge. However, it does appear than they have compressed the whole coast, and that LSX is not too far away from either Vespucci Beach or the port. That could be bad for the representation of PV/RPV.

UCLA and Westwood could be included. They need one big university campus for realism, and for us to rampage in.

Silverlake --gay culture, professionals in the flowdown businesses from the movie industry, vegan restaurants and hipster fashion.

Big train yards near the LS River - the big concrete viaduct that runs to the ocean. We see the river in clearly in the GTAV publicity shots and artwork; Rockstar included this train yard in LA Noire.

Yeah, I would also like Century City. They should include the skyscraper that was featured in Die Hard. I also would want Baldwin Height since I have heard that it`s the black Bevery Hills. And of course South Central! And Malibu. Better versions of Bel-Air and stuff.

Beverly Hills.

A crucial district that was not included at all... makes me sad.

The Rodeo district in San Andreas was kind of based on it. But yeah, I hope for a even better one, with more landmarks and such.

If I recall correctly, Century City is included. If you glance at the first July 12th Helicopter Screen, you will see structures from Century City like the Fox Building.

Yeah, I `ve taken a look on it, and it does kinda look like it. You do mean the screenshot where you see the Bevely Hills city hall? Cause I mean the one in the center the shot. You can`t see it cleatly, but yeah, I do belive that it is the one. I hope we can go inside and play some Die Hard devil.gif

I would like to see little cities like Northridge and Van Nuys. Lived in those areas for most of my life, and still live in Tarzana, I was born in Chicago though!

I hope R* finds a way to implement large residential areas with single family homes without making the map boring.

A big part of L.A. County consists of those.

In addition, I would like to see San Fernando Valley (with porn industry colgate.gif ), Century City, City of Industry and that fancy Beverly Hills Police Department.

I'm glad Westlake is in the game (confirmed through that picture of McArthur Park)'

I also want a big port like San Pedro.

It should be more like: "Districts that were in San Andreas and that wont be in GTA V".

Tierra Robada, San Fierro, Las Venturas, Bone County, Hoover Dam, etc.
