Living Tribunal Posted February 17, 2013 Share Posted February 17, 2013 (edited) Hey guys,I have been designing missions for a while and Now I thought of Joining the DYOM forums.This is my first topic I have created which is - 'Mission Impossible Series' This is a set of 9 Missions ,each covering a different area of challenge.Each Challenge is actually Unique and is not similar to any of other challenges in any way.The Series concludes with the 9th installment - Mission Impossible 9(Ultimate Showdown) which is a very Big and Challenging Task. EDIT:I have decided to continue the series beyond Mission Impossible 9.Be ready for more upcoming challenges ! Mission Name Skill Description Link Mission Impossible 1 Sniping You have to Snipe out 10 targets located at Far Off Distances with Sniper Rifle and Camera. Link Mission Impossible 2 Cycling On Steep Surface Cycle Down the Sherman Dam's Steep Surface and then over some midair obstacles. Link Mission Impossible 3 Evasion And Stealth Get from One end Of Cargo Ship to another evading Very powerful enemies. Link Mission Impossible 4 Shooting Use a Minigun to Eliminate Powerful Enemies with Very High Accuracies using Cover Tactics Link Mission Impossible 5 Balance Walking Walk Over Tough Midair Obstacles at very great heights Link Mission Impossible 6 Underwater Exploring Retrieve a Mineral Source at the Bottom of the Reservoir and Tackle some enemies. Link Mission Impossible 7 Extreme Cycling test 3 Cycling tests :BALANCE , BUNNY HOP , SPEED Link Mission Impossible 8 Boating Boat Around Checkpoints Across Entire San Andreas under some Tight Time Limits Link Mission Impossible 9(Ultimate Showdown) Combination Of Melee,Evasion,Exploring,Puzzle etc. There are 22 Rounds.Till 11th Round It is Pure Melee.From Round 12 Variety Of Challenges Available. Link Mission Impossible 10 Climbing from building to building and Finally the Downtown Tower. Variety of obstacles like Moving staircases in thin air,Rolling Barrels etc. in Air. Link Mission Impossible 11 Underwater Challenges After a WarmUp , you have to retrieve 12 Bags within 4 minutes which are kept in tricky locations underwater. Link Mission Impossible 12-1)Mountain Rash Extreme Rash Driving (Car) Go through Checkpoints and recede down the Chiliad mountain under some strict Timing Link Mission Impossible 12-2)Road Rash Extreme Speed Driving(Bike) Rush through Checkpoints on National Highways on Bike Throughout San Andreas within tight time limits. Link Mission Impossible 13 Transporting Ability Transport some vehicles on board to off board. Link Mission Impossible 14 Shooting and Evading Abitlity. Blast off the City and Planning Department. Link Mission Impossible 15 (Part One) Evading and Surviving Survive against waves of enemies for 2 minutes. Link Mission Impossible 15 (Part Two) Evading and RPG'ing Evade AND kill the opponents in 4 rounds. The Difficulty level of these missions is High.So attempt them only If you have a good mood for challenges , otherwise they will seem extremely frustating.None of them are actually Impossible.Some missions like MI 2,MI 3,MI 8 and MI 9 require tricks.These tricks are the key to their completion.Cheats are not Allowed.If you have any difficulty regarding any mission , PM me.I will give some necessary hints regarding the mission.My account on the DYOM site : Zohair Irani Here is a review made by Aznkei on Mission Impossible 9(Ultimate Showdown) : Hey everyone, I'm reviewing a mission made by Zohair12345. The title of the mission is Mission Impossible 9. The mission can be downloaded at: http://dyom.gtagames.nl/show/22943 - Writing: Good. They're generally well written, but at the same time they're somewhat rushed with a few upper case letters in some few words at the middle of the sentences. - Presentation: Very Good. There's huge amount of objects particularly during the first 3 quarters of the mission. There's mainly there for gameplay purposes, nothing jaw-dropping to be seen. - Length: Excessively Long. The mission can take more than 30 minutes if you're attempting to play safe in this mission. There's 22 rounds in total and each round the player must go through a specific challenge. - Difficulty: Insanely Hard. The mission requires a lot of persistence, especially when the author forbids the player using cheats and it's only compatible to DYOM V7, hence no regenerative health. The player must fight against the enemies in a brawl fight, shootout, avoid to kill wrong targets and destroying powerful enemies such as hunters, not to mention very tight time limits in some rounds. - Variety: Excellent. The actors includes most important characters from the original game, along with pedestrians, gangsters and police forces. The objects includes, fences, ramps, platforms, healthpacks and armors. Weapons include smoke grenades, sniper rifle, rocket launchers, country rifles, shotguns, katanas, dildo and flamethrowers. The vehicles include a bike and hunters. Overall, like the namesake, this mission is only for those who are looking for some extreme challenges so they won't be disappointed of this masterpiece. Those who expected a smoother gameplay with less harsh penalties should stay away from this mission. For a mission that is designed to be extremely tough, the author succeeded. Well you havent come out of brawl fight yet , well the whole mission is NOT of just Hand Fights , After Round 11 , Real different Challenges start .... I guarantee you will actually enjoy it at least after 11th Round. If you find hand fighting too difficult I will allow you to use - 'HESOYAM' cheat till 11th Round. I test them before uploading them. But i cant deny the fact that they are pretty hard for the first time, but they become easier the more u try to play them. In MI 1, you need keen observation so as to sppt and correctly pinpoint and snipe the enemies... @salvadorc : MI 15 is just to introduce the concept I might use in the guardian battle of Tomb Raider missions.
