Nothing I'm putting on this board I'm afraid, all my contacts are private. That being said its not difficult to find gossip at the moment. Just check out Neogaf fairly regularly and you'll see whats being touted. Destiny, Watch Dogs are among the third party games being talked about. These are both huge third party games that are 100% likely to be cross generation. You can easily add GTAV to that list just by using a bit of reason and understanding of the games business.

Evidence?

 

* Jan 31st 2013: R* delays GTA V and Sony teases the future of gaming video.

 

* We where expected a box art reveal, why hasn't it happened? If GTA V is confirmed for the PS3/360 why no box art? Maybe they need to add the PS4 logo, but they can't because there is no official reveal yet thus no box art. clearly a delay would not stop them from revealing the box art, if so explain?

 

* Newswire silence.

From what I've heard Agent is a joint project between Rockstar North and Rockstar San Diego. I'm fairly certain its on the back boiler at the moment whilst both studios plough everything into GTAV.

Though Agent was announced as PS3-exclusive title that is developed by Rockstar North, it's possible that Rockstar San Diego is involved in the development of it. Jack Tretton, CEO of SCEA, stated on E3 2011 that he's not sure if Agent is still a PS3 exclusive title and it's the decision of Rockstar Games. I think it's very questionable considering that the new consoles will very likely release later this year so I do not think so. However, I do believe that Agent is a PS4 exclusive title now and there are rumours that also speak for it. I think that Agent will be the first next-generation title of Rockstar Games.

I do know a few people in the games industry and I do hear things but take it from me I do not work for Rockstar! You only have to watch things like GTA5 O clock to see how easily you can deduce things just by following how the games industry works. Both those guys are games journalists who have successfully worked out a lot of stuff about GTA5 just by using a bit of reason and common knowledge.

Just to show how inaccurate vgchartz can be; according to vgchartz Diablo III sold around 3.02 million copies but now let's look what the developer/publisher and reliable websites have to say! joystiq reported that Diablo 3 sold over 3.5 million copies in the first 24 hours after the release of the game. In November 2012 joystiq reported that Diablo III already sold over 10 million copies and just recently it was reported that Diablo III sold over 12 million copies between the release and today! So the game sold in real 4 times more copies than vgchartz actually shows, thus the numbers are way off.

If they were to announce GTAV at the Playstation meeting, it would steal all of Sonys thunder. We should expect to see some PS4 exclusive games and maybe even a cross platform next-gen title.

Most likely the official site just never had those logos.

Oh and also go to the official website and click on the games section and click GTA V, scroll down and it still says 360 and PS3 as the platforms. It's obviously a silly mistake smile.gif

about one week ago i saw this rumor that the ps4 might come out before the summer holiday season.

 

not likely, but if it would be true i can see them announcing it the 20th along with gta release on next gen. because rockstar does such things to us.

even if the thing releases in august, or september 17th wink.gif , that's still over 6 months away.

 

even rockstar might not have known the ps4 would be out so soon.. thus making some decisions... wink.gifwink.gif

When they announced the delay yes, that's right. According to the press release makes me think of Dan's quote:

 

 

I've got to be real careful here, or they will drag me through the office and whip me with barbwire. I will stick to exactly what's in the press release

 

 

 

But obviously they had to lists the PS3 and 360. You can't add the PS4 or 720 if it's yet to be officially announced. With no box art reveal and complete silence make you wonder if something is lurking GTA V related soon. Whether Sony's meeting reveals anything GTA related, I'm not counting out the possibility.

I've got definitive proof. The PS4 will be announced on the 20th. 20 divided by GTA5 is PlayStation4. GTA5 IS COMING TO PS4 CONFIRMED. World exclusive right here.
