Out in a patch, as a free DLC or a part of the upcoming payable DLC for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Hardcore mode would be a truly favored thing by the players who constantly look for new challenges, seek for greater realism in the gaming and are eager to start their epic adventure created by the Bethesda Softworks team, in a more extreme conditional version of the world of Skyrim. Harsh and stern, just the way the land is meant to be! Featured in such titles, as Fallout: New Vegas or Red Dead Redemption: Game of the Year Edition, Hardcore mode alters the gameplay in a completely new way of toughness than the difficulity levels presented in the original version of the game. What differs from them mainly, is that the player is forced to be more cautious about his decisions and be more careful about his character’s life gauge, as for example. For every single game, the styling of the Hardcore mode is different. Proposed changes, that could come along with the Hardcore mode for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, are below: • Lowered maximum health, will and stamina bars. • Health, will and stamina bars are regenerating longer. • Character’s companions can die. • Values for the items sold at the merchants’ are higher, and the profits gained by the items sold to them by the player – reduced. • The prices for completed quests, as well as values and quantity of the random items found in chests and stuff – lowered. • Need for sleep, food and drink, to stay alive. • Arrows and bolts have weight. • Potions and food gradually interfere with the character’s condition, instead of instantly. • Atmosphere conditions can alter the state of your character – the colder, and the lesser clothes the character wears, the slower health, will and stamina bars are regenerating. Also, there’s a risk of catching cold. • More extreme vampirism. The implementation of such difficulity mode definitely could interest tens of thousands of people who hadn’t payed the attention to the series before, and gratified plenty of fans, who would eagerly start the dragon adventure again, just for the Hardcore. It could also satisfy the users of PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, making a great recompensation this way, for the absence of fan modifications that are held exclusively for the PC. Bethesda Softworks, in the name of the fans and player all over the world, we would want to ask together for adding the Hardcore mode for the great The Elder Scrols V: Skyrim. We are extremely satisfied with the vast content of Your game, but also disappointed for that the console players couldn’t get the Creation Kit to play with. We believe that Hardcore mode is something to utterly enrich this great title and make it even more immersive. Thanks, Bethesda!
