RPJX250
Hello guys. I have little problem with my mouse in GTA San Andreas. I can't move it. How i can fix it?
Miro
Where do you have the game from? Are you using any mods? Do you play with the original DVD in your Drive? You could try to pause and re-enter the game until the mouse works, or remove the gta_sa.set file located in the San Andreas User Files folder. Running the game in Windows 98 compatibility mode and also run it as administrator could also help. You might also try Alt-Tabbing out of the program and set the processor affinity to 1 core in task manager on the gta_sa.exe. What about trying to un-install and re-install the game? If you're on Windows 7, run the game in Windows XP (Service Pack 2) compatibility mode and then go look down and check and make sure to turn on: Disable Visual Themes Disable Desktop Composition Run This Program As An Administrator Good luck. Hope this helps. Dead (Retired)

lil weasel
? "Type SHIFT", do you mean the letters S-H-I-F-T or the [left shift] key to JUMP (also can use the [right control] key)? Have tried assigning the JUMP to another key?
RPJX250
Left shift.
Cheatti
download asi loader and mousefix.asi for gta sa and put them to the direct folder.
lil weasel
So... Did you check to see if the [L/shift] key is still assigned to JUMP? JUMP can also use the [right control] default key or try assigning the JUMP to another key. On anther concern: Are your current (if any) saved games working? Using Win98 Mode sometimes changes the location of them. Just to check out the Defaults from the Manual: FOOT CONTROLSFire #pad 0 Left Ctrl LMB Next Weapon/Target E Enter Mouse wheel down Previous Weapon/Target Q Number Pad Mouse wheel up Group Ctrl Forward G Group Ctrl Back H Conversation Yes Y Conversation No N Forward Up W Backward Down S Left Left A Right Right D Zoom in X PGUP Mouse wheel up Zoom out Z PGDN Mouse wheel down Enter+Exit F Return Change Camera V Home Jump Left Shift Right Ctrl Sprint Space Aim weapon DEL Caps Lock Right Mouse Crouch C Action Tab Walk Left Alt Look behind #pad 1 Middle Mouse Button VEHICLE CONTROLSFire Right Ctrl Left Alt Left Mouse Button Secondary Fire Left Ctrl #pad 0 Accelerate W Brake/Reverse S Left A Left Right D Right Steer Forward/Down Up Steer Back/Up Down Enter+Exit F Return Trip Skip Y Next Radio Station INS 4 Mouse Wheel Up Previous Radio Station Del R Mouse Wheel Down User Track Skip F5 Horn Caps Lock H Sub-Mission 2 Number pad + Change Camera V Home Handbrake Space Right Ctrl Look Behind Q+E Middle Mouse Button Mouse Look Right Mouse Button Look Left Q Look Right E Special Ctrl Left #pad 4 Special Ctrl Right #pad 6 Del Special Ctrl Up #pad 8 End Special Ctrl Down #pad 2 End Using a Generic USB (12 button) Game pad would end the mouse problem. I like the Logitech Dual Action, which works straight from the box without any special drivers. Edited February 16, 2013 by lil weasel

Do you play with the original DVD in your Drive? ^ Why don't you wish to answer these questions firstly? Also, have you tried my suggestion I posted above? Did you try to un-install and re-install the game? What about removing the gta_sa.set file located in the San Andreas User Files folder?
