stingray.
An even 200. Most of them are friends and family members. It took me 5 years to get to this number, mind you. No 'trophy' friends. But there are some people who I've studied with for a significant time that aren't really friends, but would be uptight of me to remove.
ExtremoMania
Does anyone here have 2, 000 friends? Mine I'm closing towards 1, 100 friends today and still growing. But have many of them are your real friends? Oh yess..... I could say that I always mingle with them since most of my friends were back from elementary days towards high school life especially for the lower year levels. You always "mingle" with about 1100 people? Do you just throw a big Project-X style party every week or something? I find it stupid when people post a status saying that they're going to perform a "cull" of their facebook friends. If you're going to do it, just f*cking do it. You don't need to announce it to everyone, as though you expect people to be shaking with worry thinking "not me, not me!". We get it, you're so awseome and popular, and have sooo many friends that it is now becoming a burden to your precious popular life. Well done, give yourself a pat on the back and round of applause. Nobody cares you dick. If you're saying that I always go to "Add Friend" spree, partially that's not true. They're the ones who are adding me and I accept them (only when I personally know them inside/outside of our school and some of former batchmates). I don't see the point why you were pissed off about my friend list but still I respect you.

Waste
I have 80 friends. Add only the people I've had actual real life relationships or long term internet relationships with. Family of course too. Just don't like adding random people I'd end up unfriending or hiding their posts in the end. Nice to keep tabs on friends and family from where I am from. Being 700 miles away from where you grew up, you can kinda lose touch sometimes. I do enjoy liking a lot of pages for updates and things. Nice keeping up to date with shows and concert venues for what's going on. Frank's Red Hot is always good for a laugh or two, or a hungry. *shrug* Facebook isn't as bad as people think it is if you keep control of what people can see and don't add random people. fgcarva1
514 Most people I do know but never talk to. Only a few 'friends'. Most are people I went or go to school with, many I have worked with. I find Facebook useful at times. I use it a lot because of Groups and etc. for work and all of that. sh*t like Status Updates piss me off unless they have a purpose, which they rarely do. LazlowsucksiloveslutS
I have 99 friends on Facebook. 98% of them I don't know personally, and they don't know me personally either. 97% of them are strippers and models that I've added for masturbation material. I was browsing myroomonline.net several weeks ago in GTAIV and I really got nostalgic about good old MySpace. The way it looked and felt back then. It had chat rooms, multiple groups and message boards, whore trains, kick ass layouts and all that. Back then, I sometimes talked sh*t about MySpace and did not realize how awesome it really was. Maybe I talked sh*t about it, because it was too popular. I still have my MySpace account with some 6000 friends. Now I'm about to delete it, because Myspace ihas turned into a ghost town. It seems it's only goal now is celebrity news and bullsh*t like that.

Durden
Ah somewhere in the high 200s. When my friend finally pressured me into getting Facebook, I made a fun little challenge for myself to follow (dont ask, I get sick satisfaction out of self-challenges, which probaly explains my love of trophies on PS3). It was a stupid challenge; it was to never send a friend request to anyone for an indefinite period of time, and then later see how many friends I have cumulated by just accpeting friend requests. And to this day I still stay true to this challenge. The closest I came to sending a request was sending an inbox message, saying "hey add me". I don't think ~300 is bad for a challenge like this. But Facebook sucks now.
Urban Legend
^ You seem to have a distorted view about Facebook users. True...I been in awkward situations though...females not telling me sh*t in person when we meet... You know like...finding out she has two kids and a husband. You can tell facebook that but not me? Clem Fandango
I'd say I have about over 9000 200. Most people in my peer group have at least 600, but I don't really add people because I'm not a big user, so the only friends I have are people who went out of their way to add me. I mostly use it to peruse peoples' statuses in case there's any major news in my network of friends, look at my friend's pictures to see what they've been up to, and to contact people if I'd rather not call them. I don't know what's so sinister about facebook, it's a pretty neutral device, you can use it casually like I do (in which case it's pretty beneficial) or you can become an annoying facebook whore who can't go two seconds without posting a status, but if you do that you're probably a colossal wanker to begin with, therefore facebook remains free of any blame. Then there's the whole privacy thing, but what do I care if someone can see all the sh*t I've been up to? If they asked I'd tell them.
iHydra
I use Facebook for getting in touch with my family and friends (IRL) only. Not Virtual friends. That's my way of privacy. My contacts are around 283. It's only people from my school or my family members. And surely one can tell, how many friends or people do actually know me.
