Baseball
Alright, so I bought L.A. Noire two days ago and I played all the way till disc 4. Today I had to go out of town for the weekend so I took my XBox with me, cause I was eager to play through the final desk and see how the story ends. When I was in the mood to play, I popped the disc in, and just when the first cutscene was about to end, like the f*cking dumb sh*thead that I am, I lifted the XBox and turned it horizontally (with the disc in it) cause I wanted to put it on the carpet. It made a noise, I quickly opened the tray, but it was too late. Now the disc has this circle made of scratches on it. Is there anything that can be done about it? Please move it if it's in the wrong section.
OzzySM12
You cant try getting one of those machines that fix scratched disks, but I don't know if that will work considering it will be a ring scratched around the whole disk. If anyone tells you about using toothpaste to buff it out, don't listen to them. Bite the bullet and go buy one of the proper things for doing it. Failing that, check ebay and other sites as there may be people who have scratched another disk and after replacing it are selling the good disks. Don't see it often but worth a shot. After all that all you can do is buy it again. Should be able to get a good price on a pre-owned game. Again, check ebay for used games on auction. Baseball
@OzzySM12: f*ck it, I'm buying the game again. The complete edition is only $45. The disc is too messed up to be repaired. Well, at least I learned a lesson.
LuisBellic
My 360 did that to my EFLC. I hate to say it, but your game is f*cked. I tried everything to fix my EFLC but the scratches were just too severe.
