saturn999 Posted February 15, 2013 Share Posted February 15, 2013 Hello I am a GTA fan since the very first one. I own all of the games some even on different platforms. But I am having trouble with my favorite GTA San Andreas. I have recently started to re-play this game after many years, now with a new computer, bought it again on steam ( this is the steam addition)- since My original CD has broken. I am getting random crashes at random times, once getting a tattoo, walking out of a building, on a mission or off, walking down the street ect. It is getting really frsutrtaing having to do mission over ect because you havent saved and it crashes. Here are my computer specs: Windows 7 Home Premium (fully updated) Service pack 1 Hewlett-Packard AMD FX-6120 six core 3.50GHz 8 GB ram 64 bit OP AMD Radeon HD 7450 (up to date driver) I have tried turning off frame limiter - when I do this the game lags greatly. Miro Posted February 15, 2013 Share Posted February 15, 2013 Are you using any mods? Have you tried un-installing the game and re-installing it? You could try to run the game as administrator and in Windows 98 Compatibility mode. You could also try downgrading, but don't ask here for tips for it since it's not really okayish.
