Adriaan
I'm sorry but I don't buy a word if this Seems like you didn't finish your sentence there. Either that or you were high and you were typing from your Obama phone. Either way, I'll finish it for you: I'm sorry but I don't buy a word if this... was published in the Daily Mail. American version: I'm sorry but I don't buy a word if this... was on Fox & Friends.

Adriaan
sh*t. Unfortunately voting for annual awards is over. I would vote this topic for the best. This one is only valid for next year's awards whereby things from 2013 are only eligible.
buzbegone
You decked the old boy and the dogs didn't react to their owner being assaulted? Slip one of the dog's heads next to him while he sleeps. He will never disturb another pizza boy as long as he lives.
LuisBellic
f*ck that guy, a 15 minute delay is nothing, I've had pizza that's took almost 2 hours to be delivered to me but I didn't act like a total dick about it.
Mister Pink
Bad theatre. Am I the only one spotting the lame show he's trying to give us? Wat? What do you mean? Kifflom you simply just don't understand anything I've come to realize. This is not an insult, just that, I'm getting tired of your "What does this mean!!?" posts. If it's any consolation I understood you. You dirty little minx! Seriously man. Can they sack you over that? I don't know what it's like in the US but where I'm from employees are protected. In an old job I got 3 verbal warnings that can escalate to written warnings. After 3 written warnings you get sacked, or something to that effect. However if it's gross misconduct (no call, no show or smoking class A drugs) you can be fired on the spot. First of all being latte delivering a pizza doesn't seem like the worst thing. Usually pizza companies have a 30mins or it's free thing. I f*cking hate customers with this 'sense of entitlement' bollox. He could have rang your job and said what happened and most likely your boss would have gave him the pizza and you would have been told off but not sacked. Acehilm
Well since you aren't what your username says you are, you'll be haunted when signing into this forum everytime; flashbacks of the man snapping his thump and a dog tugging at your leg. You'll forever remember it faintly as a near-death-experience...

Kifflom112
Bad theatre. Am I the only one spotting the lame show he's trying to give us? Wat? What do you mean? Kifflom you simply just don't understand anything I've come to realize. This is not an insult, just that, I'm getting tired of your "What does this mean!!?" posts. I understood what you meant... I was just asking why you felt that way. In addition, how do I ask way to many 'what does this mean, da-hoo-yee!!?' questions? I just asked, didn't actually intend to preturb you in anyway. Didn't need the attitide from you either. I mean do you have a problem with me or my concerns? You claim you weren't meaning to insult me, but well. It's like saying ,"No offense, but...". Stephan90
I was just having an overall rough day. It took a little extra time to get to the person's home I was delivering to. I live in a town surrounded by farms, and the one I was delivering was quite a ways out. I was about 15 minutes off the estimated delivery time. When I got to the house 3 huge friggin dogs just gave immediate chase to me. I mean it those things were massive. They circled me all the way to the door, when this older man answers and tells me: "You're late." I gave the guy the pizza and asked for the pay, but he refused and slammed the door in my face. I wasn't going to stand lightly to this. I nearly beat the door down to get him back in front of me. I told him I wouldn't leave until he paid, but once again slammed the door in my face. The entire time this has been going on those huge dogs are right next to me, damn near ready to rip my head off. Out of desperation I opened the door myself and demanded the payment, but the old guy gets right in my face and tells me to get the hell off of his property, snaps his thumb, and one of the dogs bit me on the leg. My anger took over and I leveled the old guy and told him to keep the damn pizza then. Once I made it back to the joint the boss told me that the old man had called him up and told him what happened. I was fired on the spot. i know this is pretty much my fault losing the job, and I admit I suck at controlling my temper. So that's about it. I, The Pizza Delivery Guy, am no longer delivering. 1. First, you should have called the cops immediately at the spot. His dogs bit you in the leg, that's battery. Also, he didn't pay. if your delivery service didn't declare that the pizza is for free when you are delivering too late, his refuse would be illegal too. 2. As for your job, the dismissal must be by writing and must contain the reason for firing. I would inform myself about employment law in your country, to get to know if the firing is justified. Good luck Edited February 13, 2013 by Stephan123

MIKON8ERISBACK
He shares a fair bit of blame for not paying. I'm not saying that such dramatic over reactions to stuff like that that pizza delivery men probably face all the time is okay or fully justified, but the man at the very least should be brought up on suitable criminal charges. If I were your boss, given the dogs and the arrogant and borderline violent attitude of the man, I would have only given you a warning. I would never fire an employee for doing something like you did given such circumstances. I'm very sorry about you losing your job. You'll find a way out of this mess with a little effort.
