slimmanachou
First i had problems with my laptop connecting to internet now i am having a new problem. Whenever i try to run my copy of gta sa nothing happens (even while starting from samp.exe). I tried to analyze the situation using task manager and noticed that whenever i start my game a process starts for a sec then closes after about 2 sec. If you can help me it would be of great help. I have re installed the game and deleted the user files in documents.
Miro
Where do you have the game from? Are you playing with the DVD in your Drive? Do you have any kind of mods installed? Have you tried running the game in Windows 98 Compatibility mode and also run is as administrator? What about trying to remove the gta_sa.set file located in the San Andreas User Files folder? Tried any of these? Even a re-install? Dead (Retired)

Spider-Vice
What he means is, where did you get your game from, if you downloaded it (if yes from where) or if you bought it as a disc. lil weasel
I have been using this copy of game for 2 years so it is not with my game, everything is updated. If it's "not the game" then it has to be the hardware, but you say the game worked for two years? Then either your system updated something the game doesn't like or your DVD is dirty/scratched. Or you have a pirated/torrent/warez game that has reached its end, and there are No-fixes. If the game worked and has a sudden stop then deleting the gta_sa.set file usually works. If the System updated a Driver that the game doesn't like then try a roll-back to when the game worked. If you're using a 'backup' copy, go to the Original DVD. If you have 'cracked' the game for a No-CD program, go back to using the Original DVD.
