hithere5 Posted February 12, 2013 Share Posted February 12, 2013 Hey guys, so last week I saw the new Top Gear episode set in southern california. It also featured some awesome drag racing. So what about some nice drag racing in V? I think it would be a nice minigame if car modification returns. As you can see in the youtube-link the winner of the race can be quite surprising. As soon as we seen the screenshot with thie bridge in the background ,the only thing that came to mind was omg the drag races on there is gonna be amazing. So can not wait to try that out. In singleplayer it would be cool to be able to pull up next to someone with a modded car at the lights and if that person wants a race with you it would bring up an icon and you get to accept or decline the race. Kaijis Posted February 12, 2013 Share Posted February 12, 2013 It would be cool but I think it should have some kind of a challenge other than just pinning R2 down and seeing who has the fastest car. Maybe something like controlling the clutch with R3 and using R2 and L3 normally. Shifting should also be included in a dragrace minigame to make it even more challenging. Never mind the 9mm, just switch to one of the other two characters and take out the competition with an RPG.. Underground racing rings, too. There could be a whole money front attached to it. How's that for spending money? I'd always be broke customizing. I mean hell, it's LA, it would be a crime not to have a car scene there--with Franklin in the middle of it--without having customization and racing. Imagine demolition derbies, drag racing, submarine battles, tennis, fighter jet fights, dirt track racing all in game. GTA 5 will definitely have all these things in free-roam. They just need to actually make them game-modes. So IMO drag racing should definitely be in the game. I already do drag racing with mates in the airport in GTA IV.
