ModsIncorporated
Hey i was wondering if there is a way to place custom teleport makers on the map. You know those yellow interior markers. I want to place those but have them go some place custom. They do not have-to be those markers. Can i do this with MED map editor or is it something complex if so explain it well for a beginner. If there is a CLEO mod that does this Thanks
OrionSR
The yellow markers that teleport CJ into an interior or other location in game are ENEX connections. They can be modified by editing text files, but a bit of care is required to keep from messing with other enex connections. http://www.gtamodding.com/index.php?title=ENEX You can accomplish the same thing with CLEO by creating (and later removing, space is limited) a marker (0A40:) when CJ is near and then using common move player codes to make it act like a typical enex. This method is a lot easier to share. Custom enexes in IPL files tend to mess with people's games. Edited February 12, 2013 by OrionSR

TheGodfather.
Well it would be better to make a CLEO Script & then using it ..As the other processess may lead to crash sometimes.. You can have a look at my HIDDEN ACCESS mod to see how I used the CLEO Script for the ENEX connections..

They're smaller than regular enex markers. 2. You can spawn up to 5 markers at once - stock SCM has max 3 at the same time, so 'safely' you can only use two markers at the same time. OrionSR
If you add an enex line to an existing IPL file you will scramble the links of most of the other enexes; unless you start a new save, which will establish a new set of links. A better strategy is to create a new IPL file, preferably in a completely separate folder under DATA (DATA\IPL for example) and then call it at the end of GTA.DAT, after all the other IPL files have had a chance to load. Then any enexes you create shouldn't conflict with the existing links. End of GTA.DAT with added IPL line IPL DATA\MAPS\occluint.iplIPL DATA\MAPS\audiozon.iplIPL DATA\IPL\myenex.iplSPLASH loadsc4 myenex.ipl from a previous example enex1356.9, 307.5, 18.74, 0, 2, 2, 8, 1356.9, 305.5, 18.74, 153.6, 0, 4, "AMMUN4", 0, 2, 0, 24 //Montgomery's Unused Ammunationend Since the ammu-nation already has an interior enex all I had to do was create one side of the two-way pair. I can't tell what your specific problem is due to the links being scrambled. Try again and if you have more problems then post your ipl lines. If you are loading new IPL lines into an existing save then be sure to save indoors to avoid conflicts with burglary doors.

I made a new IPL file and everything. It loads but there is no marker there and when i go where the marker should be still nothing. I did get it to work with the new game method but some other interriors just didnt work. It was way less than before. any reason for this?
OrionSR
I can't tell what the problem is. You haven't posted your IPL codes and your description of the problem is extremely sparse. Make sure your enexes work on existing saves. If the El Corona safe house connects to the proper interior then all of the others are probably okay too. Try your new enexes on a new save. Things generally work more reliably which makes testing a lot easier. Getting a new enex to work on an existing save can be tricky. I seem to have inconsistent luck. Random burglary doors are usually the culprit, and saving indoors or far away for any possible burglary door usually works, after a few tries anyway. Try starting a new save and then loading an existing save. A standard game uses 376 of the 400 possible enex connections. Post your IPL codes. Enex connections are complex and difficult to work with. Well after a few trys i did get the new IPL method to work. i just need some help with it when i use the exit marker i created it takes me wayyy up in the sky (are my cords incorrect?) Assuming you are an ENEX expert can you check this for errors. NOTE: the enterance works fine but the 2nd one the exit is where i get the problems. # ENEX.iplinstendcullendpathendgrgeendenex1772.89, -1548.71, 9.35, 0, 2, 2, 8, 2561.51, -1280.69, 1030.96, 90, 2, 4, "CARTER", 0, 2, 0, 24 2561.51, -1280.69, 1030.96, 0.00, 2, 2, 8, 1769.25, -1548.71, 9.5687, 0, 100, "CARTER", 0, 2, 0, 24endpickendcarsendjumpendtcycendauzoendmultend
