lpgunit
OK, fine, I have a short attention span and I often get distracted easily. My prob is that my employer, i.e. my brother, tends to raise his voice or yell at me for even a single trivial question or issue, and when I bring the question as to whether I can resign, it's either him that's subjecting me to drivel as to what I'm going to do afterwards, or my parents berating me for how I work. It's hard for me to focus on one thing, but I'm trying to. It's just that I tend to be quite sensitive and get buzzed off whenever someone yells at me for any reason. /vent
lil weasel
Seek other employment. If you're subject to pressure from all around you and you are an Adult, move on. Even if the next job isn't ideal with your 'short attention span' don't continue in your present postition. Better to be unhappy away from your current presures than stick it out. You already know how it is, so try something else for the experience if nothing else.

That's the problem, it's my parents berating me if I ask for another job, telling me that it won't be any different with my sh*tty way of doing things. My only vent is that I just don't like my brother's habit of talking sh*t at you for just a single mistake or question. Even in other things outside my work he's known for being a Scrooge of sorts as he tends to grumble at something or someone.
Dale Nixon
Every man at one point in his life has to say 'f*ck You' to the people that claim to love him and know what's best for him.
lil weasel
Are you 'stuck' living at Home with the parents? What kind of money are you being paid? The way you're making it out is that you are a slave to the family. I read it that you are asking for a different job in the same company rather than going out to Wal*Mart for a job. You are 24 yo, sounding like a 13 yo in the family business.
