New Horror/Comedy TV Series Now Casting

"Zombieland", an upcoming TV series from Sony Television, is now casting starring roles for its first season which begins production in Late February.

 

From the producer of "Curb Your Enthusiasm", this series will be based on the hit 2009 thriller movie about the survivors of a zombie apocalypse who travel across the country to find a sanctuary.

 

"Zombieland" is being written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who also wrote the original feature film from Sony Pictures.

 

The show will be produced by Gavin Polone, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick for Sony Television and Amazon.

FEMALES

 

["Wichita"], any ethnicity, 18 - Late 20s. Wichita is an attractive, bold, and fearless woman who is also an expert liar and manipulator. She is a confident and unsentimental young woman who has no tolerance for sappiness or romance. When the world is overrun by millions of zombies, Wichita remains calm under pressure. STARRING ROLE

 

["Little Rock"], any ethnicity, 10 - 12. Little Rock is a smart, plucky, and pugnacious pre-teen girl who is brave in the face of the zombie apocalypse. She is very similar to her bold older sister, with whom she teams up in order to fight off the zombies together as they search for more humans. CO-STARRING ROLE

 

["Ainsley"], Caucasian or African-American, 30s - 40s. Ainsley is a chatty, hard-working, and yet prickly female secretary who works in the same office as Fred. She tends to complain about minor things when she's not around her boss. CO-STARRING ROLE

 

MALES

 

["Columbus"], any ethnicity, 18 - Late 20s. Columbus is a "hip nerd"----he's a strongly intelligent, slightly neurotic, and earnest recent college grad who suddenly finds himself battling against thousands of zombies. He is definitely not usually a tough guy, but the crazy situation has brought out a survivalist side of his personality. STARRING ROLE

 

["Fred"], Caucasian or African-American, 30s. Fred is a soft-spoken, earnest, and peppy guy who works in the same office as Ainsley. He is stuck in an uninteresting desk job and has trouble envisioning his future. PRINCIPLE ROLE

 

["Tallahassee"], any ethnicity, 40s - 50s. Tallahassee is an adventurous, irreverent, cocky, and intelligent guy who loves to break the rules and take chances. He is an expert zombie killer and has a charming quality to him that many women find appealing. CO-STARRING ROLE
