Why do I see a black screen when I start up GTA IV

So I installed icenhancer 2.1 from here

When I start up GTA IV I can see the menu just fine but when I click start and the loading screen finishes all I see is a black screen with a map radar in the corner. My PC specs are:

Intel core i3 2120 3.3 GHz

ATI radeon HD 6850

6gb of ram

450w power supply

So is it my computer that's causing this glitch? I also installed the mod on a clean version of GTA IV with no other mods installed.

Do u have trainers? If yes, Try deleting the Trainer script and d3d9.dll . Make sure you have installed Xliveless, and savegame on Documents/Rockstar Games/GTA IV/savegames
