TheD94
I'd say around 6. I really want to play that game when it gets released on PC. That's going to be a pain in ass, but I will wait while I can't wait for it. But I got other things on mind.

GTA_La_Costra_Nostra
I'm not one to usually complain about Rockstar, but they're marketing plan/release strategy has been a failure. It went from 9 to about a 6. Depressing

johnny_zoo
2 Its pathetic this marketing run from Rockstar. I cant take the teasing and waiting its atrocious. Im still on these forums because I am hooked and cannot leave. I ve been visiting this place for 6 years now its kinda hard to just up and leave. Might sound crazy but its akin to just one day leaving home and not coming back, without feeling some some kind of sadness.
Honest Bill
If i bother to think about all the possibilities and what i expect from the game, i am very excited to play it. However it is quite some time away and so it is rarely at the forefront of my thoughts. Rockstar knows this full well though, and are well aware that how 'pumped' we all are now has little relevance since the game is not available to buy at the moment. It matters little to them if we are pumped or not. They know that closer to release, they just need to release the tiniest bit of info to us and people will be as 'pumped' as they need them to be.. Remember that Eddie Murphy analogy about giving a plain cracker to a starving man? Well it's a lot like that, the less info they give you now, the hungrier you will get, and the better it will taste when they do finally give you a few meager scraps closer to release. They know all of us GTA nerds will buy it anyway, and we all know full well when it will come out and will make a point of keeping informed. They only need to worry about the rest of the gamers who might pick it up.

Rockstar's 2012 "marketing" was some kind of pathetic, senseless screweup. Rockstar marketing has pretty much left us high and dry, like a taken-for-granted wife who is being ignored for months (stretching into years) while the husband is out cavorting with a mistress. It's going to take a really big f*cking diamond (i.e., GTAV blowing us away) to redeem that pig (i.e., Rockstar marketing). Meanwhile, I need some kind of GTAV stimulation, and this forum is it -- it has become home, a big place that used to be full of happiness and joy in the months after GTAV Trailer #1. This home is now rather run down and the inhabitants are more surly, and some of the enthusiastic people have left for different places, but it's still the only home we know for GTAV inspiration. I can't leave. I have nowhere to go.... So I'll just stay here and be snarky, until we start getting some new info

Anyone with a slight criticism of the game will be deemed 'Haters' and will be told the stock response "Go and play SR4 you piece of sh*t" And anyone with even the slightest praise for the game will be labeled "Fanboys" and be routinely told to go and 'suck off' Rockstar/Cockstar/c*ntstar or any other enormously witty play on words you think of. Given those truths, maybe after GTAV release, the entire forum can be replaced with a single poll, "Fanboy" or "Hater" and one click is all it will take. Millions of wasted words and terabytes of internet bandwidth will be saved. We might even see a significant reduction in global warming just from eliminating the GTAV Forum's carbon footprint. Lmao, this is my favorite part. Thank you. OT: I'm stoked as hell for the game, I joined this forum for info on the next GTA literally minutes after 100%ing IV. But I'm also fairly certain we're gonna get a great game and so I personally don't need a steady stream of info to maintain so called "hype". It's f*cking GTA. I<3GTAV
9, it seems like every 2-3 months my hype level goes through the roof, and I can't stop staring at GTA V images for a few days. In July, September, November, and January, I remember doing nothing but reading these forums for like a week. However, after the release date was delayed, my hype immediately went down.
