Stephan90
As many people want a GTA set in their home country, I want Berlin or Frankfurt am Main because it has a real skyline. Apart from that, I would say: São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro or Tokyo. Edited February 10, 2013 by Stephan123

What about Dresden? I'd like to see a GTA set in Dresden Dresden is the capital of my home state. I have been there several times. The city has many famous sights like the Frauenkirche, Semperoper, Zwinger, Grünes Gewölbe and is the biggest economic island of East Germany. (apart from Berlin) But it has not much crime going on. Claude4Catalina
Baltimore, Maryland. The Wire fanboy in me screams for it, but so does the rational side. imagine a bigger Alderney but one that shows such a change of class within a few small blocks. sort of like plonking downtown Algonquin in the center of Alderney, a little epicenter of business surrounded by the open air drug market. Username.gta
Grand Theft Auto...Glasgow I can see it right now, you'd play as a small time member of the local young team who would make a living by breaking into abandoned flats and burning them, as well as sneaking out some free stuff, all in the process of dodging the local 'polis' and killing any old pensioner who gets in your way. The default weather would be rainy, of course. Some sights that could be recreated include George Square (the centre of the city), the docks along the Clyde, Central Station and the Barras Market. There's a fair bit of crime in the city, so it would make a good setting for a GTA Game.
The Notorious MOB
I would love to see Rockstar make a game set in London.. but not a GTA game. There really needs to be a good game about London gangsters made this generation and I think Rockstar could do a mighty fine job of it.

LuisBellic
Although it will never happen i'd say Denver, Colorado and the surrounding areas (where I live). It would be f*cking awesome to play in a city based on where I live. And f*ck a parody city, I would want to see an accurate recreation.

New: Washington, D.C., New Orleans, San Diego/Tijuana This, also Chicago,Detroit,London,Moscow,Naples/Palermo,Hong Kong,Shanghai. Those would all be great, but I doubt GTA is going international any time soon. If R* was to introduce a new city, my money would be on a D.C. parody. Chicago, Detroit, Philly, Boston... these are all great cities irl but wouldn't be that thematically different from LC/NYC. Washington, D.C. is easily the most recognizable, iconic, and culturally significant American city that has yet to be represented in the GTA universe. A politically charged GTA would be controversial, but it would also be very fresh. That said, it would be cool to have a Midwestern Chicago/Detroit/Milwaukee/Minneapolis type city (Carcer City?) run down after the collapse of the auto industry and set during a harsh winter with frozen lakes, ponds, and abandoned factories everywhere... But R* could achieve much the same affect with an LC reboot that includes surrounding countryside, i.e., Connecticut/New England.
Rjeev142
I think it's a necessity for a gta to take place in a Chicago based city. As for vice city, I think the next gta to take place in vice city should also include a miniature version of the Caribbean, and the Everglades as well. If they really wanted to take it a step further they could include an upstate Tallahassee type area as well.

I<3GTAV
I would like to see cities in the Midwestern US; Chicago, Detroit, St Louis, etc. These cities are usually among the most dangerous in the country. I would love to see what Rockstar does with the ghetto atmosphere. If they do a midwestern GTA, maybe they could add Canada into the mix, to smuggle drugs across the border. dan96kid
Modern day Tokyo. I have yet to see an open world game set in modern Tokyo. It would be fun speeding down the shuto expressway in an infernus with the cops after you, and a gun fight on the shinkansen.
