Who gets the inveitable PC port?

So with the PC version all but confirmed (I'll bet cookies on it) which studio gets the port? I've heard PC players saying they won't get the game if it's handed to Rockstar Toronto again, but wouldn't they have the most experience? I guess they would deserve another chance after all they have learned?

If you were handed the decision of choosing who gets the job who of the following realistic choices do you pick?

Rockstar Toronto - Keep with the current port team who did provide alot of supportive patches to fix GTAIV

Rockstar Leeds - L.A Noire porting team and from what I played didn't do a bad job of it

Rockstar New England - Bully : scholarship edition port team. I'm not sure what they doing lately?

Or do we live in fantasy land and pretend it's not a port along the lines of Max Payne 3? lol.gif

im sure torronto (which is now merged with vancouver) will make a much much better port this time around

The port Individually Developed game won't be made by any other studio than North with DX11 Features just like MP3.

This is the first time I've felt nervous about the possibility of a PC port. I thought I understood R*'s moves, but everything they're doing seems either random, or just plain different than what I'm use to. And with next gen right around the corner, I just don't feel comfortable basing my logic on the past anymore.

If we get one, hopefully it will be quality. I think any of the big R* studios are capable.

North may not be so experienced with PC in the past but come on now, After what happened with MP3 this will be good, Also i wonder why all the studios got mixed and developed MP3, Anyways, North might have learned a few tricks from different studios during MP3 so i expect a better GTA for PC this time.

I believe there won't be a port this time, which means it won't be made by Rockstar North, they are too busy with consoles and they are used to code RAGE for them, so I have no idea who has been working on it, but if they made a version side by side with consoles as I suspect it won't be North.

Who does it I don't care honestly, if the work is done right.

It'll be Toronto again, the amount of work Vancouver and Toronto put into the PC version of Max Payne 3 was brilliant, seeing as Toronto also did GTA IV, I can easily see them getting the task again, especially now with their better experience and whatever remaining Vancouver Staff they now have on board.

Yeah, Rockstar Toronto worked on the PC version of Max Payne 3. The Vancouver studio closed in July last year but the team merged with the Toronto studio which could have a positive impact on the PC version of GTA V.

Well, is there a source which can confirm this statement? This sounds too good to be true. Or it was just a special exception with Max Payne 3.

Rockstar Vancouver - Lead On Project & Additional PC

Rockstar Toronto - PC

Rockstar New England - Xbox 360

Rockstar London - PS3 & Testing

The source is Take-Two Interactive, parent company of Rockstar Games.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jul. 9, 2012-- Rockstar Games, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO), today announced that it is expanding its development capabilities in Toronto, and has opened a larger, new, custom-built facility in Oakville, Ontario for the Rockstar Toronto team. The studio expansion is being supported by the Ontario government. Financial details were not disclosed. In conjunction with the expansion, Rockstar Games is moving its 35-person Vancouver-based development team to the new facility over the next six months, and is offering all members of that team the opportunity to join Rockstar Toronto or take positions in other Rockstar studios.
