[WIP|EFLC] GTA: Vice City 2

Recommended Posts

It could look impressive but I highly doubt this mod will get finished. The screenshots only show (a part) of Ocean Drive.

Conclusion : I'm not amazed at all because I'm tired of seeing awesome screenshots and then see the mod cancelled 2-3 months after. By the way, the (selfish) authors doesn't even share what they have done.

Map will be at the same outline as Vice City or renewed like in Los Santos from V? (I'm highly recommend that second option give a fresh look into VC).

Oh, the irony. The sweet, sweet irony!

Hey Blaster,

There is something I noticed. I can't tell if the swimming pool in this screenshot have water in it or not. It looks like that it doesn't but at the same time, I see a beach ball floating inside (implying there is water?).

If there is water, how did you get emmisive shaders working underwater?? monocle.gif I mean, the emmisive shader on the pool light bulb.

At least you're saying my screenshots are awesome, that's a start. Andrey started developing the docks area 1.5 years ago and they are still going on with a slightly bigger team. It's highly unlikely it will get cancelled in 2-3 months when they are already going for over a year.

Yes they are but I don't care because I know I would never be able to play the mod because it will be cancelled. Also, it was an example, what I mean is that the mod won't be finished, it'll be cancelled before.

Im not following, share what exactly?

Share the mod files. Unfortunately, most modders don't want to share the files when their mod is cancelled because they think it's "too unfinished to be shared to public" but to me they are just selfish.

I ask your permission to use the III rage map

You say "NO"

You then proceed to say that the selfish authors don't share what you've done.

Hypocrisy much?

Lol, best joke ever, nice job man.

I said no ? Yes I did the first time but then I sent you a PM and asked you if you wanted the mod and YOU said no because "I was too rude at you, now you didn't wanted it".

+ I had my reason to say no at first time, and you already know it.

Hypocrisy much?

Permissionm for a map that isn't even his in the first place, more irony!

But G, the mod won't be shared till it's 'done'. Or at least, done enough for a public release. It's just not useful to release a chunk of the VC map with no missions or mini games or at least something to do.

Permission from a map that I've converted, fixed and adapted it to IV, yes.

done enough for a public release

That's exactly what I was talking about. Just read my post before.

Quoting for the liar.

EDIT 2:

Let's continue this through PMs, I don't want to flood the topic.

This is beautiful. Would be good if you could increase saturation a little bit.

The bit lower saturation makes the color scheme more "pastel", which fits well with the 80s/miami atmosphere IMO.

By the way, if this mod ever comes out, I may have to buy EFLC.

Are you guys still working on this project?

I wouldn't think so, considering the date and the last updates, unless they were gonna surprise us super good.

Out of curiosity, is there a chance you will move on to the GTA V engine when the game is available for PC?

It would create a better Vice City atmosphere with features like god rays and improved water effects. Also there wouldn't need to be too much ped work done as they are in high quality, and would fit in Vice City.
