You need a graphics card, yes. That's about it, though. If you prefer playing with a gamepad, you might consider getting one, but that's completely optional.

You wouldn't be able to get much with 5,000 Rupees, though. Depending on how good the prices for computer hardware are. Maybe Geforce GT 640? Or GTX 550 Ti? How much would you be able to get these cards for?

The rest of your computer is rather outdated, but you aren't going to be able to do anything about that with 5,000 Rupees.

Prior to filing a bug against any of my code, please consider this response to common concerns.

Definitely get a better graphics card and two more gigs of ram. Since you only have 32bit, that's all it will recognize.

I would say the CPU should suffice however I would buy more RAM and definitely a new graphics card. 5000 indian rupees are about $90 so not really much. You should think about buying a used graphics card, something like a GTX460.

Get 2 GB more RAM and trow your graphic card into a trashcan as fast as you can. Graphic cards from intel suck donkey ass while their CPUs are the best on the world. I guess you already know.

Suggesting a graphic card under 5000 (that are around 70€) rupees?? There are many graphic cards for such price, but all not worthy. But I suggest to get money together and maybe you will have around 15000rupees even before GTAV release, then you can buy a Nvidia GTX from the series 2xx, 3xx or 4xx which might be ok for GTAV.

You have a Intel Core i3-2100 CPU which means you have DDR3-RAM. RAM is pretty cheap nowadays so you could buy 8GB RAM but since you already have 2GB of RAM, it's enough if you buy 4GB RAM. 1000 rupees are around $180 which sounds already much better. I would suggest you something like a GigaByte Radeon HD7850 1GB which can you find here on amazon for $179.99.

Hardware stores seem to be pretty expensive in India. Okay, would be PowerColor Radeon HD7770 GHz Edition 1GB which costs $119.99 on amazon in your price class?

For GTA or any other game with that setup you need more RAM 4GB, but I'd recommend you 8GB DDR3 it's less then 50€ in my Country and we have very high taxes, from 4GB to 8GB made a huge difference fr me in GTAIV, no more popups and I could even use the night shadows at max.

But most important buy a new graphic card, I use NVIDIA since day one, but you can also go for an ATI, you can buy something over the medium class between 100€ - 150€ easy, but I'd recommend you to wait 2 or 3 months or a bit more, new GPU's are coming and they will be in that range or you can buy an older one that will be cheaper by then.

In other words, less then 200€ and you transform that into a powerful gaming PC, able to run any latest game at max... mine is under that and I do it.

A PS3 or a XBOX 360. That's what you need.

How should we know about the specs for a (not already announced) PC version?

Why do you guys even bother answering about buying a console?

Do you expect someone with a FERRARI to buy a FIAT UNO?

He have a setup and he is asking about what he should improve (you know like tunning?), if you have no idea about what that is or why it's important just don't comment, no one cares about the non existence of an announcement or the list of requirements the game need, a real PC user knows how to tweak his machines to achieve what they need. And GTAV won't need the Deep Blue from IBM to run the game.

Firstly, you need to convince Rockstar to make a pc version of the game.

Then you need to upgrade mostly everything.

Grand Theft Auto IV can't run on Intel Graphics, so I'm pretty sure V can't neither.

You also need to install more RAM. 2048 MB is weak. You'd need at least 4096 to run any newer game at a fair FPS rate.

You might also want to upgrade your OS to a 64-bit system.

If you want to play, you'll have to downgrade.

Try:

Processor: IBM Cell - 3.2 GHz,

Ram: 256.0 MB XDR DRAM,

GPU: NVIDIA RSX @ 256.0 MB GDDR3 SDRAM,

Blu-ray Disc Reader.

Only one other setup can handle GTA V.

You're gonna need an Xbox 360 or PS3 mate.. no PC version as of yet. And if they do release one, it'll be months and months after the consoles.

This is why I like to play on the ps3 because I have never had any lagging or low frame rate problems with it. I use to be an avid flight simulator player until the damn computer kept putting out about 10 fps instead of 20

LOL. Maybe in your country a PC is something like a ferrari. PCs don't cost that much. I have 2 just for testing software (one running linux, one the f*cking windows system), also 3 Macs and 4 different gaming consoles.

For now what he needs is a console because we don't know if there will be a pc version (I'm sure there will) and when it's released. Oh - and his PC setting is kinda poor.

A Ferrari… suicidal.gif

@OP: Sell your machine or trash it and buy a new one or change any part of your existing one.

As usual the greed to give a smart answer made you misunderstand my words.

When I said if you had a Ferrari if you'd buy a Fiat, I was comparing someone that have a PC and someone tells him to trade it for a console. Also he asked for a setup for games like GTAV, which means GTA and other games. For people that understand about games and PC's it's easy to take a guess about what is needed to run GTAV without even getting the official specs. So the "buy a console" answer remains a stupidity.

So in order to enhance his machine he needs more RAM and a new GPU, thats all. No one is talking about "ah its only for consoles blah blah blah..." If you wanna believe that good believe it much as you want, but let others think in their own way.
