Group missions planned?

Any one finds it unusual that among the hype and discussions about the 3 main characters the alternative shared by Rockstar saying the player can choose one character at a time actually leads to a possibility that we may play game as group or team of 3 with instructions or options to set them in action as chosen by the player.

For example, Ghost Recon format where you A, B and C groups with 1 main character each followed by (assuming) secondary NPC recruitable.

I am aware of the fact that you choose one character at a time meaning those 2 become temporary inactive but this isn't specifically mentioned but concluded from little Rockstar has shared.

There is no reason for other 2 to be inactive since the trailers show cutscenes with 3 characters in many scenes together wither engaged in dialgoues or action.

 

Also, the scene where all 3 imitate the pattern of cover up eyes, ears and mouth may resemble their inability or a lacking a certain relevant stuff that they form a team and undertake missions.

 

And Lastly, I certainly feel there are at least 2 other new and fresh areas added to LS giving an opening start to any of the 2 characters each.

I dislike having to drive back to the hideout in order to save the game. Is there any other way to save progress without having to return to the hideout? Or is there at least a "teleport to hideout" hack or mod? Anything to let us save more frequently would be welcome.

 

Not sure if anybody else noticed or not.
