BlooopedOut
I extract my models using OpenIV, but when it comes to loading them into S Max, I get an error telling me that the files are not the correct format or encrypted. I'm experienced with modelling in Maya, but not Max. I would really like to create some models for the game, but unfortunately, and frustratingly, this error is preventing me from doing so. BlooopedOut
1) Tell me GIMS version2) Tell me OpenIV version 3) Give me that model OpenIV version 1.3.5 On the GIMS UI, it says it is build 7.11.2011. I got it from here : http://www.gta4-mods.com/tools/game-indefi...-iv-gims-f11326 3DSM 2013 The models I'm extracting are from GTA 4 itself taken from that version of OpenIV. Ashmic
I have the same exact problem!, I have tried it on 3ds max 2010 and 12 I tried the mostly Batman Arkham city models like this one: http://www.gtagaming.com/downloads/gta-iv/player-mods/14024 GIMS version is 7.11.2011 Because GTAgarage is Down, 503 error and Open IV is Version 1.3.5 I have tried a billion things even going through 100 pages in the GIMS forum page doing the sugestion of opening the .odj file in Notepad and changing the Version to X 10 (or whatever, basically changing it to 10)
