RAC0000 Posted February 9, 2013 Share Posted February 9, 2013 Hello I recently bought the GTA collection on Steam and I love my new games. The issue I am having though is that GTA San Andreas 3.0 is a pain to deal with in general... I cannot play in 1920x1080 unless I use a work around. Most mods. I want to use cannot be used with 3.0 and to my knowledge 3.0 is not down-gradable. Should I just get another copy of GTA San Andreas that is not updated? The DVD, Version One (v1) is the modable game, but hasn't been available since 2006. The DVD, Version Two (v2) is modable after downgrading it to remove the programming that blocks modding. We don't discuss the 'how to' of downgrading on these forums. The San Andreas Forum is for UN-modded game questions, and problems. In Your haste to post You must have missed the Bottom Main Menu choice for MODDING. And obviously the Banner lettering: Modding questions belong in THE MODDING FORUMS! Where You click on the underlined words. That’s where You can find Players who ARE dedicated Modders, they are more likely to give You some assistance! Be careful to post in the correct forum topic, as they can get persnickety about that. This is an Olde Game. Many questions can be answered with the FORUM TOOL: SEARCH.
