The person who posted this is the editor for Gameinformer. So, do you guys think a "Los Santos stories" or something like that will be coming to the vita? This thread is pure speculation, and I'm not saying it will happen.
Blood_Money
Would be great, but most likely Beaterator 2.
GTAfan786
Something similar maybe. What about vice city nights that was leaked ages ago? It could be that too. Unless that was fake if im mistaken.

GTAfan786
Damn. So Los Santos Stories or something similar is up for development then. Or maybe an IV based game...

Andreas
Jim Reilley only said that Rockstar Games is developing games for the PS Vita, however he didn't specifically talk about GTA V. GTAfan786
I just noticed this tweet is from 6 June 2011, it's been 2 years now so what is the point of sharing it now? Edited February 9, 2013 by GTAfan786
thebestgameever
6 Jun 11 Yea, long time a go. Could be very beneficial for the vita, it could do with the help. I love using it, a great system AND FOR ME ( i know many will disagree) it has a good game library, i never played the psp games so they are a bonus, as well as ps1 games. A properly VITA GTA game would be dam epic and maybe huge, it's my number 1 game i wanna see on the vita. SONY should use what ever leverage they have over ROCKSTAR ( like IV becoming multiplat) to get rockstar to make a vita gta
Raavi
Personally I wouldn't care that much about a VITA version. However it could be fun for a lot of people. Maybe even blow some new life into VITA as a whole. – overeducated wonk who fetishises compromise
Darth_Starkiller
I was expecting a bullsh*t thread based on mere speculation on something that was completely unrelated to it. I was surprised with something so direct to the point. Well, by this point, I don't think they're gonna return to III era. IMO it'll just be an unrelated game, or maybe something like CW but for V. GTAfan786
Chinatown Wars had NOTHING to do with the 3 era AT ALL. If they are even making a VITA version, it will be based in the HD era, either in the IV setting or V setting.
Darth_Starkiller
I never said that. I meant that it'd be another game in the same city as the main game of the current era, not that CW was III era.
Rock Howard
I'm actually really surprised a GTA game hasn't been made for the Vita as yet. I'm sure it'll happen eventually though.

Guest
I'd rather R* focus on actual games rather than some novelty handheld game you only play when your main source of entertainment isn't in functioning condition.
Adriaan
Agent, the Sony exclusive. But yeah, not sure what's going on here. This was almost two years ago, so the title could have been canned by now. Titles get canned in the industry all the time - especially if the hardware sales don't turn out good, like it is for the PSP Vita. Sony announcing Rockstar working on PSP Vita was made before the device hit the market - so Rockstar could have changed their minds by now. Maybe it was just Chinatown Wars? But I won't be surprised if it was canned. Here's just one example of what I assume is a canned title (at least, for current-gen): http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/12/rockstar...king-on-new-ip/ Back in 2007 they said "an 18 month development" cycle. It's been over 5 years since then... nothing happened.
