GTA V Suggestions For Realism

Personally i think the game is amazing so far but like everyone else im not sure what rockstar has to offer in the amazing new GTA Series so im here to hopefully help out rockstar a little bit for the game and its capabilities.

1: Resources: i think the game should run a little like "minecraft" and make it to were you have to get resources to survive. EX: go to the store and stock up on food in your fridge, go to a local hardware store and get roof pallets for if your roof leaks during a storm, gas for cars when you drive x amount of miles for your car, supplies for home renovations(Furniture, Tools for fixing cars, etc.).

 

2: Perks(aka: abilities/upgrades): no not call of duty perks but something similar. i think cars and people should have perks, to clarify, you can put higher boost or volume for music on the radio system in your car, make it to were you could put guns on your cars,Train trailers, boats, etc. that shoot, spoilers that actually effects handling on the vehicle and you can put the spoiler in any angle you want to get maximum performance, make any style rim you want, etc. then perks for your character can be like tattoos, jewelry, holsters/straps for guns, Dance/movement/taunt abilities, etc. side note: it would be cool if rockstar could make it to were you could drive ships as well as walk on vehicles wile it is in motion and also put vehicles on it. and have lock on capabilities with air vehicles and with flares.

 

3: Game Modes: i would like for rockstar to bring back and make new game modes not only for single player but multiplayer as well. to clarify, pool, basket ball, football, home video games EX: Xbox, ps3, etc, poker, gang wars, seek and destroy, assassination, etc.

 

4: Weapon customization's: like the game "ghost recon future solider" it makes your weapon customization's vary to numerous choices. i think GTA 5 should have that same capability but also have the ability to tweak your guns and clean them to so it forces you to take care of your guns and have the maximum performance when you are in a predicament.

 

5: Multiplayer abilities: i think in multiplayer, the money you rank up with is also your spending money in free modes(single player earnings could work to)

this way in you can spend your money in free mode and play with friends, then kill people in ranked matches instead of free modes. also a little side note: i think it would be cool if rockstar could make it to were instead of flipping a phone up to go to a game mode you have to go to a certain destination in free mode to go to that game mode. but ether way i would like money to be in free mode one way or another i think it would be amazing for clans. and i think it would be a really cool ability to email/text message friends in the game. i would also like to see drugs, alcohol, food, drinks, guns, objects, etc. in multiplayer and have to ability to hand them to people for dealing.

 

6: Map ideas: i think it would be adventurous if rockstar put rare hidden areas, objects, weapons, vehicles, etc. around the game. EX: caves, paths, underground bunkers, etc. it would be cool if you could find a hidden space ship some were and you have to get some resources to fix it so you can go to the moon but i no that's a little extreme so i guess you could take this as a little idea maker.

 

That's all i can come up with right now but if you have any good realistic ideas to add just post them up and hopefully rockstar would be a company that reads what their fans want in the game and see if they could make it possible. and if rockstar has the time then i suggest they play games like Sanandreas, Farcry 3, Saints Row 3, Battlefield 3, Forza, etc. to get more ideas because thats were i get my ideas from and would really like to see everything in all the other games to be in just GTA V.

and if rockstar has the time then i suggest they play games like Sanandreas - THEY MADE SAN ANDREAS!, Saints Row 3 - Why would they take sh*t from such an ugly sh*tty physics game?

Stock up on food? Roof repair? Home renovations? Excuse me, but I'd rather be busy flying a jet or something. I don't want to get gas, I don't want to get virtual groceries or pay virtual bills. That's sh*t I have to put up with in real life because I don't have a choice. But in a game? Hell no.

Just a note to say that Merriam-Webster have scrapped the phrase "red rag to a bull" and replaced it with "in-game chores to a Racecarlock".

 

Seriously though, I do agree with you Racecar, mate. Chores like having to a do your weekly shop, filling up with gas and other such mundane things really have no place in GTA. GTA is supposed to be a fun crime game. Some realism does very much have it's place in GTA, but not menial tasks as has been suggested.

I suppose I should explain myself on that.

 

I avoid the sims games nowadays for a good reason. I don't consider chores fun. See, I have seen many many games do immersion well enough that chores were not needed. Hell, I got here just now from having discovered the wonderful sense of motion in Gran Turismo 5 and now I feel like I really have been to a speed of 318 MPH (The car was the red bull x2011 prototype). So, to me, these chores would do nothing except add boring real life things that nobody in real life enjoys doing (with the possible exclusion of home improvement).

 

Gas, in particular, and his idea on stocking up on food, piss me off. Because that means that I would have no choice but to do either of those things if I wanted to keep a car I like or to keep the protagonist from dropping dead. I'd really much rather be flying a jet, but if these were implemented, I would have to periodically land to get my guy burgers. Not to mention if fuel was applied to planes I would probably run out and crash.

 

Let me put it like this. Do any of you enjoy getting gas in real life? Do any of you enjoy eating in real life, or rather, would you enjoy eating if you couldn't feel any of the sensations, such as flavor, texture, and so on? Do you enjoy fixing up the house in real life? Do you enjoy shopping for food in real life?

 

If the answer to any of those questions is no, then why the hell would you want any of them in a video game, which is meant to be an ESCAPE from real life?
