You're hype is definitely going to come back. And once again, we should count ourselves LUCKY that Rockstar have the passion to make the best game in the world perfect and do it their own way. I'm sorry but if the delay has ruined the whole summer season for you take a break seriously. Just because people are complaining about the delay, it don't mean that the only thing in their lives is GTA. It is genuine reason to feel disappointed about. Imagine you were so excited for something like meeting a super hot chick after a long time getting to know her the next day and then she tells you she has to cancel the date, go abroad for 6 months and then meet you when she gets back. How disappointed will you be? A lot. Yeah it's a different situation as this is a game, but the principle remains the same - you were hugely looking forward to something and you were majorly disappointed when you did not get it or see it. That's how people felt so, respect that. This is a GTA forum if you did not know. I don't see anybody on here saying they wanna kill themselves, blow up buildings or launch a revolution because of the GTA V delay, so just relax man. All the threads on this forum are practically recycled from an earlier thread. I think it would suck to be hyped for the next 8 months anyways. But yeah, I lost my hype too and that's what happens with no information. It's what R* wants at this time. A new trailer, images, or some more information will get us hyped again, but soon after we'll start seeing these topics again. And now that the game was supposed to be out 2 or 3 months from now and we have to wait another 8, likely with very little information again for a long time, I've lost my hype even more. I honestly just don't care anymore. Rockstar ruined it for me. This was supposed to be one of the best games I've ever played and I was so excited for it, but now it just seems like just another game I'm gonna get tired of in a matter of days. So why get all excited and worked up over it when it's not even coming for almost another year? I sincerely hope Rockstar uses this opportunity to learn from their mistakes for the future. Perhaps when we get closer to the release and R* can actually give us a steady stream of stuff and release it on time, then my hype could return. Oh well, what's done is done. But every time I think about all the things that are going to be in V, or the trailers and screenshots while I'm playing GTA IV - I get a little hyped. First they hold off releasing info for over half a year after the first trailer's release then they delay the game from the planned release of Spring to Autumn. I went to sleep on the 30th, thinking I'll be waking up the next day with a GTA V cover... I woke up, I'm smiling & going on the newswire then: 9.17.2013... I wasn't mad, just told myself that they're pushing it to the limit with the fans... Like they were waiting on the 01/31/2013 to troll everybody.
