They re-introduced the R18+ ratin before video games over here, it's almost impossible for games to be fully banned now. Please.. here in Germany we have the 18+ rating for decades and yet the games are still being censored or banned (like the ban of Dead Island or the censoring - immortal civilians - in Max Payne 3). Even though it's for adults. Anyways I don't need that type of gore stuff in a GTA. In San Andreas and previous titles with "beheading" people was just comical and it doesn't fit in the HD games since IV. If anything they should do it very realistic.. and I just don't see that happen. But maybe there could be scripted scenes like in MP3. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I haven't played this game and I can't get what you mean Why not see for yourself. The Bullet hole were a very nice touch but the .50 caliber sniper effects were totally underdone. They try so hard they're just sad and/or funny. You can not take them seriously. That's the whole concept behind a little game called Postal.... among others. And it makes no sense for a serious game to make you burst out laughing every time you have to shoot someone. That sh*t may work in Postal and Manhunt. But it has no place in GTA. If you really need that crap don't worry, it won't be in the vanilla game but it will be modded in like always. Why are you assuming it's going to be a %100 serious game? I mean, san andreas had a dildo weapon, GTA IV had a fat cousin whose catchphrase is practically "American Titties", Vice City had a porno poster airplane delivery mission, and there's tons of nutty missions in between too. Oh but what am I thinking, right? The game could only POSSIBLY be good if it only ever panders to you. Yeah, sure, I've been with this franchise since I got vice city, but oh, now all of a sudden it needs to be serious, right? Because only you matter. Sure, V's second trailer had a house explosion, a train crash, a line that included the words "Ignore the bodies", and a fighter jet taking down two police helicopters, but I'm sure it'll be completely serious.
