Mak
Hey guys, So I had some cash and got a gamepad, it's a ps2 style one, anyways it's working nicely, but I have a problem on Red Faction: Armageddon that the left analogue isn't properly working, the controls are opposite of what they should be Up acts as Left, Down acts as Right, Right acts as Back and Left acts as Forward, everything else works okay .. so anyway to fix this problem? Trund
I'm not familiar with this game, but have you checked whether there are options in the controls menu? Sometimes you find Y-Axis and X-Axis Invert options. Would be interesting to know what gamepad you bought though. You could also try an Xbox 360 Controller emulator, as most games are based on the Xbox 360 controller.
Mak
That option is only for the Right Stick, which works fine, I tried it With NfS Most Wanted (2012) And it works fine with it seems it is a game issue? gonna try with some other game. btw this is the gamepad i bought, Edited February 9, 2013 by M.A.K
na89340qv0n34b09q340
Are you by any chance using the controller with an emulator? If you happen to be doing that re-check the controller mapping with whatever emulator you're using. (These are the proper axis mappings.)
Mak
I'm using the Xbox 360 emulator which is required for games such as GTA IV but with or without it, the problem stays, other games are working okay?
Trund
I googled around a little and you don't seem to be the only person that has problems with these game. Apparently it has a pretty bad controller support, hence why the steam site only lists it as "partial controller function". What you can try is Xpadder, you can manually configure everything then.
