Eggs are good to eat dont you think? Anyways, it would be cool, but unlikely. There was no significant GTA 3 or LCS references in GTA IV. I thought there was that "Old Mansion"???? Nope. Please don't think my post means I'm against homages to the III era. As long as it doesn't involve bringing back or directly referencing individual characters in an obvious way, I'm all for it. Might be even named grove street.. As u very wel mst b knowin gta 3 had an airport named st francis intl airport.. and gta 4 liberty city had it too.. Mayb dey cud do d same 4 gta v by including the street and mayb a house like cj had in san andreas wud b in it.. Anything's possibl.. Wat say guys? I mean, we know that V will feature tons of criminal organizations that realistically reflect the current underworld in Southern Cali, so who cares if there will be an African-American gang called Grove Street or Bingo Bangers....it's just a name and a color. Honestly, since that WE KNOW that gangs of that ethnicity will be in V. Their name/color is just a small detail. But different universes, get the f*ck out. That's just stupid and I don't know why Rockstar phrases it like that. If they want to make that claim, make a totally new city already. I agree, somewhat. I don't rly mind not seeing Claude, CJ or Tommy again...they're easily replacable characters in a new story! In terms of characters I'm fine with this universe separation... ...but in terms of locations, cars, clothes and what not you gotta have that connection to the past. Cause let's be honest here for a sec, just because it's no longer 1999 doesn't mean people stopped wearing baggy jeans and hustling rocks on the corners. Time moves forward, nothing changes etc. So yeah, OP, there ought to be Grove Street in V. Or at least a reference to it. There's only two options here: Either Grove street will be there for you to walk through and sh*t, or something else will be on that same spot and at least the history of this street will be mentioned, at least briefly. Indeed, yes, this is the section of the GTA-SA map that immediately came to mind when that scene popped up in GTAV Trailer #2. I mentioned it once in a thread and I expect that a number of other people have also noticed it. I wish they would have a cul-de-sac Grove Street, ending at the Los Santos River, with all the other houses on the block not being enterable, just like before, but have CJ's house be an abandoned ruin that we can enter and search for small scraps of GTA-SA easter eggs. No need to mention CJ or the Johnson family name, just have the house represent a bygone victim of the economic crash. I know Rockstar won't do this, but I think they should. Alternatively, Grove Street could be all Hispanic / Latino, which has been a trend in real life Los Angeles. A third alternative, as mentioned above, is that the street could be gentrified and lined with McMansions (some of which are foreclosed), but this does not seem likely from Rockstar either. And I do wish that Grove St will take a role in the game. AND I also believe that there will be a Grove st in GTA V. As I searched for GTA V map I found something : As you can there on the left of the words East LS there is a street that might be Grove st.
