It's a reinvention of Los Santos, yes, but Rockstar KNOWS a vast majority of people WILL be looking for grove street. You'll be able to walk down to the cul-de-sac and feel chills go up your spine as you see CJ's stomping grounds. I doubt there will be missions there, or anything referencing it, but I think it'll be there. I assume there will be other recognizable landmarks from SA's Los Santos as well. Whats your opinion? Do you mean the place so are you talking about Ganton or do you mean the Grove Street Families? If you mean the latter one then it's obviously a no, if you mean the former one then yeah, it's possible. Ganton in GTA San Andreas was based on Compton in Los Angeles so chances are that this place might return in GTA V. Why are so many people obsessed with the return of characters/places of the older games? Cars, some fast food restaurants and radio producers passed from the 3d ERA to the HD ERA. There is a possibility that gangs can pass too. These gangs are parodies of real gangs. I probably don't expect (and don't want to see) CJ and Sweet again. However Rockstar returns to Los Santos to give us a more detailed version of it. And last time I checked, locations are authorized to travel through universes (ie Vinewood). What's wrong with a little homage to alotta people's favorite game? It wont be mentioned by anyone at any time and you will just come across it one day. It will show that this isnt the same Los Santos from SA. It will just be a callback to their best game. If by 'changed around a bit' you mean completely different, then yes they're the same place. Let's just be silly & put this in real world terms. If you were to demolish, landscape & rebuild 1992 III era Los Santos into 2013 HD era Los Santos, how much do you think it would cost; 30 Trillion, 40 Trillion dollars?
