Quackerz Gamerz Posted February 8, 2013 Share Posted February 8, 2013 Ok, firstly I'm going to say that I did search to see if this topic had been covered before, and nothing came up, so keep that in mind if it has actually been covered already. To the main point now, as I'm sure most of you know, in the GI review of the GTA 5 gameplay, they mention seeing an armoured truck, and the player has multiple ways of getting the money from it; following it, just killing the driver and taking off with it, etc. Now, my idea is that, there may be more missions to do with robbing these bank trucks (and yes, I do know that they are random missions like ones in RDR). Here are a few of my ideas: - A convoy of 3 trucks has just left a bank, and is on it's way to another bank on the other side of the city. Your mission is to use the 3 protagonist feature to steal all three trucks at the same time. One to block off the road in front, another behind, and one to take out the drivers. Then, each character will steal a truck and drive it to the nearest safe house. Each truck holds $1000-$3000. Of course all 3 characters will need to be near each other at the time, but this could (hopefully) be pulled off rather easily. -A single truck holding around $10,000 is driving along the street, yet it has a police escort of 2 patrol cars, and 4 police bikes. Take out the cops, then get away with the money. I understand these may be hard to implement, but leave C&C. If you have any ideas for more of these 'truck heists', I would love to hear them! In GTA 4 the armoured trucks only had around $2000 in them most of the time (for me anyway). And it would be too easy to get alot of money i had any more than $3000 since there are no guards, where as the escort has armed cops on guard, just to make up for the amount of cash, yet I understand where you are coming from. That scene where the road gets blown up, and the armoured truck falls into the subway was a pretty cool thing, I hope we could do that! I'll see if I can find a vid of it. You will have to stay inconspicuous while tailing them, or they will call the cops on you. Maybe you can call up Franklin to steal an emergency vehicle to block off a road that the Armoured Truck is travelling on. You call Trevor to get a haulage truck (I think you know where this is going) & when Franklin's emergency vehicle brings the truck to a halt, Trevor rams it & the rest is elementary (for anyone that's seen 'Heat'). I see what you mean, what with Chris Shiherlis being the only survivor of the gang in 'Heat' but (don't click this unless you've played all of Rockstar's games this gen) R* have used that twist ending in Red Dead Redemption & L.A. Noire. I have no doubt the story will throw up some surprises though. As for robbing armoured transport vehicles, I can't see how an individual could rob one. Maybe you take whoever collects the money hostage, or maybe there are multiple ways you can take it. I have a few ways on how you can take the truck. - You can pretend to be a cop (drive cop car and wear disguise), then pull over the truck to 'inspect' it, then pull out the driver, and take off with the money. - Place explosives on the road, then wait until the police escort drives over it, blow it up, and the wreckage should hopefully trap the truck. - If there is an option to use a duffel bag in free roam, you can run up to the back of a track, shoot open the back doors, and grab the money, rather than needing to blow it up/take it to a safehouse. - Again, use the 3 protagonist feature to help you get the truck. One character snipes, to take out the driver/escort, another blocks off the road with a truck, and the last one drives the truck away. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Seriously, I want to do a drive-by with all 3 of them in the same car. I've mentioned this before. I want to switch from the driver to the guy on the backseat, to the guy on the passenger seat leaning out the window, back to the guy on the backseat, then again to the driver and so on.
