Wouldn't this guy make a great fourth protag?

Do you think Chris Doorner would make a good additional protagonist?

Wait do you think what this guy is doing is right? confused.gif

This is Grand Theft Auto not Cop Killer Simulator. This psycho should be locked up, cops who abuse their authority should be arrested, not killed.

Edit: you might like to know that he doesn't just kill the officers but also their family members who happen to be there at the wrong time.

This guy is definitely not GTA protag material. At least every GTA protag had a conscience.

I don't think what he is doing is right, but I do understand his point of view and empathize with his intentions (if all information according to his manifesto is accurate). Police that are corrupt will never be arrested because of how the system works, it's corrupt itself. Its a classic case of desperate times call for desperate measures and according to him the ends justify the means.

OT: This thread is dumb, obviously he shouldn't be related to GTA in any shape or form.

I can see what you're getting at, but why kill family of his targets? I would have had a minuscule soft spot for what he is doing, then I saw that one officer's partner and another's daughter were killed (allegedly) by him.

Replying to other posters: thinking in terms of GTA, it's like Niko killing Ilyena Faustin (Mikhail Faustin's wife). I don't think any protagonist would do something like that.

I agree, going after innocent people is not the right way to go about it. If he just went after the corrupt cops I think he'd have more people on his side, which would help with clearing his name which, ultimately, is what he wants.

No, I really don't think it's a good idea to give any a chance to hero worship a sociopath nutjob.

At least, not a real one.

Signatures are dumb anyway.

This man is my new hero. He most likely won't survive, but he will be remembered.

As someone who killed innocent people because of something from 5 years ago.

Now, call this "too soon" but in all seriousness, this guy

" Christopher Dorner"

would be a perfect fourth character.

If you've been following the news, basically this guy is trying to kill off some police officers who have abused their authority. He's already killed 3 so far. The guy is a "former LAPD officer and Navy Reservist. Trained sniper, proficient in numerous tactics, firearms and police procedures." (via reddit)

This is like something straight out of a movie, and he would be a very appropriate character for a fourth slot in GTA 5.

What do you think?

How would you feel if this guy killed someone in your family? You are a f*ckin chump

I'm going to go ahead and agree with the others that; entertaining ideas such as these, sensationalising tragedies such as these, creating threads such as these - and attempting to link them to any form of entertainment let alone one, Grand Theft Auto, that is already violent and misinterpreted in its purpose and fanbase - is a really bad idea and takes us many steps backwards in improving the general public's understanding of this kind of entertainment and its place in our culture.

It's not about simply not discussing it either - there needs to be a clear and solid disconnect

Couldn't have said this better myself.
