I somewhat understand their frustration with new members/young posters since they tend to join without the proper knowledge of what exactly a forum is, although the poster should be assessed by the quality of their posts, as you said. I find I post less during the run up to a release as its impossible to find a worth while topic, and even if you do you cant get a word in. It's not getting any better either as the games go on, but I'm sure it will make for much better forums after the game is released and folk ain't just moaning. I also joined because I figured getting news about the game would be quicker/more thorough here than just Googling "GTA V" every couple of days. And I stay because I appreciate how meticulous some posters here are at breaking down info/screen shots. Its impressive. Crazy, but impressive. He didn't update the GTA IV page too much and there is no sign of V there. I gotta say though, it's fun looking at those old pictures of III and VC. But my waiting was limited by the fact that time to time I was checking news about GTA IV, then - GTA V. In July for some reason I was excited and hoped that the game will be released in Autumn 2012, and maybe even PC version will be announced. Then I hoped again. And again. I'm using GTAForums as a source of info because all the news and speculations comes faster than anywhere else. But right now there is almost nothing interesting because, most likely, the game will be released on PC in 2014. I know there's a multiplayer area of the website, but I know most V section people don't visit that. Maybe we should start setting up multiplayer events for V section frequenters? Don't you mean GTA IV No mistakes. I've been waiting for GTAV forever. This game's been in development for a serious long time. SO I probably should be getting excited for "6" too... I joined around gta III's time but I forgot my name and password. But I only read the forum anyway so I didn't bother trying to remember. But after I had seen the trailer for V and knowing Rockstar reads these forums too. I decided to make a new account so I could post in the wishlist. I frequented the forums for a long time before that though, and one day finally decided to join. I remember reading the trailer analysis topics for IV.. so so long ago. Joined 5 months after V was announced and we still have another 7 months to go! Shows just how long we have and will be waiting for this game. Id never have thought in october 2011 we wouldnt get the game for about another 2 year! I thought it was coming out october 2012 i knew rockstar delay their games so i told my self it'll be out june 2013 at the very latest which was "official" up until they said 17th september 2013.
