To some, "seven months" have their eyes read the same as SEVEN MONTHS! while for others, their eyes have themselves read the exact same thing as seven months Personally, it is going to be a mix for me; this month and the next month of my life will be occupied by the final exams and the next two months - when info will probably high and dry - will be boring ( that's the summer over here). But, the good thing is that the "boring phase" will only be two months for me since June is when the final gracious marketing should start with the hands-on previews, trailers and sh*t! Those of us that have, y'know, jobs, girlfriends, hobbies, play in bands, stuff to do other than gaming... we'll be doing that. Sorry but this has to be said. I didn't ask anyone to do the experiments themselves, did I? All I wanted were some recap clips in preparation for the practical exam that I did today. I didn't have the time to fully devote myself to searching the required videos online - so I asked you guys for help. Also, why wasn't deffpony flamed like this when he asked for help for proper homework sometime ago? Because he is a relatively older member than me? Anyways, please comment on the topic. Imagine, many of those surely had plans for a vacation after being done with V. Sometimes I think, they are more upset about the delay than we are. But I really think it is going to suck come summer time. My class load will be much smaller so I would have been able to enjoy it alot more. Not to mention fall semester starts in august so by the time GTA comes out it will be just in time for my first set of exams. But now i'm actually alright with it and i'm seeing the positive things about it. If GTA V had come out this Spring, i would have missed out for a long while on The last of Us and i probably still wouldn't have finished Tomb Raider and Bioshock Infinite. But with a new GTA game, i know i will be only playing that for a long long time, so those other games would not be played and my backlog would be getting more bigger and bigger. Especially because i still have plenty of games already in my backlog. Now i will have all the time in the world to finish those games. Buy the games i missed last year like Darksiders 2, Borderlands 2 and Dishonored and probably finish them in time too. Well you pretty much asked people to go around the internet looking for material for you to study with, which is kind of what you should have been doing. My topic was about verification on instructions for a homework assignment. I provided the home work given to me, along with my result and asked for others opinions on the specifics of the instructions. It was completely different. On the other side GTA V releases exactly then when school begins and only god knows when the PC version will release, hopefully sooner than with the majority of Rockstar titles in the last decade. Plus, on September I am starting 3rd Grade of High School, and I will not have enough time to properly enjoy the game, as I will have to do A LOT of studying... But once I gave it a bit more of thought, I realised that this is a perfect opportunity for me to revitalise my social life during the summer and focus on my drumming... A delay until Jesusmas (or later) wouldn't surprise me in the least, which is why the wait isn't bad now because the game's almost completely off my radar currently. Whenever I tried to be positive about the release, I've been wrong. Here's my second ever post on these forums, in early November '11, shortly after the 1st trailer broke: This is excellent news. I honestly can't see a big delay on this one either. If this doesn't come out until 2013 I'd be absolutely stunned. I'm guessing a spring 2012 release, fall at the latest. Poor, naive SOB...and here's a post of mine from mid-December '12, in the "Do we actually believe in a spring release?" thread: I'd be more pessimistic about it if they didn't release the first trailer over a year ago already. They've had plenty of time, I'm sure they're prepared, I believe them. *knock on wood* ...after all that, I've come to the conclusion that being negative about the release date is probably best. Which is why the wait won't be so bad for me. I can't do a countdown of when its going to come out because I don't even know when its actually going to come out.
